Greatest Champions

King Patrick Star

K. O. T. R. 2007 -€“ Team Undisputed
Many of you say that reigns don’t matter in Pro Wrestling. I, for one, think that whoever held the strap the longest (combined reigns is the greatest title holder of that particular Championship and made the biggest impact. With that said, below is a list of some titles and their corresponding combined longest holders. If you agree great, but if you disagree, then who should be considered the greatest (whichever title) Champion and why??

WWE – Bruno Sammartino (I can already see the little Hulksters coming to attack me)
WCW – Hulk Hogan (I can hear all the WOOOOs even before I hit "submit")
World Heavyweight – Triple H
ECW – Shane Douglas
TNA - Kurt Angle
Intercontinental – Pedro Morales
United States – Lex Lugar
TNA Legends – Booker T.
ECW Television – Rob Van Dam
European – British Bulldog
WCW Television – (Can’t find the list of combined Title reign lengths)
TNA X-Division – Chris Sabin
WWE Hardcore – Steve Blackman
WCW Hardcore – Norman Smiley
Light Heavyweight – Villano III, (during WWF’s more current / 1997 - 2001 / exclusive use of the title, Gillberg)
Cruiserweight – Gregory Helms
World Tag Team – Demolition
WCW Tag Team – The Steiner Brothers
ECW Tag Team – The Public Enemy
WWE Tag Team – Paul London and Brian Kendrick
TNA Tag Team – Beer Money
WWE Women’s – The Fabulous Moolah or Trish Stratus*
WWE Divas – Michelle McCool
TNA Knockouts – Awesome Kong

Just for $#!+$ and giggles…

Million Dollar – Ted DiBiase
FTW – Taz
*(I didn’t want to include the WWE Women’s Title, because of the “controversial / confusing” reign of The Fabulous Moolah. It wasn’t exactly how it’s portrayed, so I technically I count Trish Stratus as the longest reigning Women’s Champion.)
