With all the speculation that Goldber might be joining T.N.A. I was wondering what everyones oppinion is?

Personally I think it's a good thing, I know he's nearly 40 but as long as T.N.A. use him in the exact opposite way WWE did I dont see why he cant be a success. He could have stiff matches with Samoa Joe, Steiner, Hernandez and Rhino, and have nostalgia matches with Jarrett, Nash and Sting.

I had made mention of this in a thread about Batista in the WWE forums. Goldberg was underutilized by both WCW and WWE. He is probably one of the more explosive big guys out there. The catch is, he can actually mat wrestle as well. When he was first brought into WCW, he strived to learn. I was learning a lot of submission holds, and other technical wrestling manuvers to try and get over with the fans. Unlike Batista, Goldberg can work a match longer than 20 minutes. Usually, the fans just wanted to see him spear and jackhammer the opponent, so they kept the matches short.

Goldberg can actually wrestle a half decent match when he needs to. I would love to see him and Samoa Joe go at it. Omg....the stiff kicks in that match would be incredible.

HA! Goldberg sucks. He's possibly THE worst wrestler of all time. All the idiots who actually cheered for him in WCW are idiots. Here is how a goldberg match goes: he comes in the ring does maybe a suplex or two (rare) spears his opponent then jackhammers them. Oh yeah, he also does a kick to the side of the head. He's just another WCW loser who couldn't wrestle but was pushed big because he was in WCW who are the same idiots who made Booker T their last champ, tried to destroy Ric Flair's legacy, brought in the mental case Ultimate Warrior, gave Hulk Hogan complete microphone control, gave the spoilers for Monday Night Raw so people could tune into their rivals program, destroyed Mike Awesome's career, gave David Arquette the World Heavyweight Championship, need I go on? In other words, Goldberg was simply pushed not because he ever had talent, but because the people running WCW were idiots who knew nothing about how to manage a wrestling roster and the people who watched WCW were even worse. Goldberg can't wrestle and I think the whole world realized that in his match with Brock Lesnar. I even told everyone before that match that it was going to suck since Goldberg can't wrestle. Everyone defended him then and I'm sure there's some that might even defend him now, however, this time I don't want to see him in TNA to show everyone how horrible he is in the ring.

^^^You're stupid iamwrestling.
Goldberg is 38 not 40.
Goldberg is too big for TNA. Honestly.

I never said he was 40. I never said his age. Goldberg to big for TNA! HA HA HA HA HA HA! That's hilarious. I seriously laughed at that statement. Seriously.

I would say that Goldberg is washed up, however to be washed up you had to have had wrestling skills to begin with. Therefore, Goldberg is not a has been, he's a never was and never will be.

iamwrestling, normally I agree with your statements, this one however I will have to disagree. He was getting good before his ego got to his head. If given the proper opponent, he could definatly put on a great match. It just needs to be someone who can work the same style. He does have a big move set, much bigger than most men his size. He tried to learn, and acquired quite a bit of wrestling knowledge.

If he joins he will be great...I like him and always did and he can help tna alot but the problem is he wants alot of money and a contract like sting...I hope he just joins. I mean he is already set for life...Goldberg was probally the only new talent they got that they really pushed to their full potential...he is a future hall of famer...He is a awesome wrestler..Had great matches with lots of people and for him to go to TNA will be cool imo..

if goldberg goes to tna it will be great

think about it

Joe vs Goldberg

I really wouldn't like it if Goldberg went to TNA, but i'd really like to see the Joe Vs. Goldberg matc.

Well, I mostly only saw the WWE Goldberg and only rarely did I see the WCW goldberg. So maybe I got the wrong impression of him, but I've never seen anything good from him.

Umm one question, how did wwe yuse goldberg wrong? Last i checked he one the title in 5 months yeah umm your right tna definately shouldn't give him give him the title.....ever! Goldberg sucks:shit:

Very agreeable. I think the only reason why TNA would bring in Goldberg would be the weight nis name carries. Not his abilities

Uhm yeah WWE Goldberg sucked ass. But then again so did WCW Goldberg after his title win. However, if you look back at his early run in WCW it was evident that Goldberg wasn't that bad, he definately tried to learn and had quite a bit in him. In fact I still have old tapes of Nitro and I recently watched an episode during the time he was feuding with Raven for the US title, and I almost had a heart attack. I had completely forgotten that the man had at one time demonstrated some wreslting ability. The problem is as soon as he got over bigtime with the fans - he started wrestling a different style - most likley directed to him by WCW officials.

Creative in any company often fck a lot of things up and they woulda thought the fans only want to see strong style Goldberg go out there and dominate his opponents - which is what he did. WWE did the same thing, limiting his moveset, but also made Goldberg a comedy act - which completely destroyed him. The only problem I see with Goldberg right now is his ego. The man has to learn to actually lose a match. He has had people at the tip of his d*k for so long and has gone undefeated for so long that he sees himself as too big to lose. Note to Bill - Stone Cold, Hogan, Bret, HBK, HHH and others have all lost matches and it is an integral part of character development. You can't just go out and win every week, it gets boring, i.e. Cena. Now that he is no longer the champion and actually loses every second week he is no longer getting booed.

I think that Goldberg would be good in TNA, but seriously for no other reason than his name value. And even that is worth nothing if Spike continue to fail to promote the show. Look at Sting - how many people do you think actually know he is in TNA apart from TNA fans? How many people do you think know what TNA is? The problem is a lack of promotion and confidence by Spike.

Personally I would love to see even Sting and Jarret absent from TNA programming and have people like Joe/Styles/Truth/Daniels/Homicide/Williams/Sabin/Shelley/Rhino/Hoyt/Bentleigh/Senshi and others being the guys challenging for the title. But it won't happen until TNA has a large enough fan base/viewing audience. And perhaps having more big names will give Spike the confidence it needs to begin promoting the company more strongly.

Goldberg needs to make more movies, like this one...

In my opinion, he's not washed up. He's in better shape than a lot of the wrestlers nowadays and regardless of what WCW made him do a lot in the ring, we know that he's capable of skilled wrestling. Just because guys like Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin get crap matches does not mean they're crappy wrestlers. Goldberg still has it in him in to main event. However, nobody could use him correctly because Smackdown, RAW, ECW, or TNA does not have the wrestlers to complement his skills. TNA is the least able to complement Goldberg's skills

what ever happend between goldberg and vince mcmahon, cuz i heard if he ever did make another comeback it wouldnt be with vince

I would like goldberg to come to TNA and go after the NWA belt. I would spaz and maybe even start watching TNA again.

I can't even begin to explain how much I loathe Goldberg and the opinions behind why I do. But I'll try...

He's unsafe in the ring. For proof ask Bret Hart and his skull.

He's limited in his ability. I've watched his performances from his TV debut with Bill DeMott all the way to his last WWE run and some of his Japan stuff. He doesn't know how sell, and his acceptance of opponents' offense is ridiculous. He is a strong and fast mover, don't get me wrong on that, but I don't feel he has the pacing ability to deliver a true back-and-forth encounter ala Michaels, Hart, Styles, or Angle. He was a worker who also was pushed way too fast. His undefeated streak would've been a great idea, if he was a heel. Jim Ross said it best on Raw one night when he fired back at WCW by saying something along the lines of "you won't see any 10 second main events here." This was referring to Goldberg giving the spear and Jackhammer to Paul Wight the week before in one of the biggest pissed-away main events in Nitro history (you can find the match in it's entirety on Youtube). The day Goldberg was pushed was the day WCW began to die, and coincidentally that was the day WWE began to overtake them. With the exception of a couple of matches I figured Goldberg might actually lose, I couldn't stand watching WCW main events with him because they began to move way past predictable, and WCW was my favorite for quite a while. Goldberg needed about two years of seasoning, I feel, before he should've been given even the US belt. He reminded me of the Warlord. Just not as good.

GOLDBERG SUCKS!

hes washed up, he cant wrestle at all. hes only special cuz he has "the spear". he shouldnt go to TNA. it would be a waste of there money.
