Post after post year after year fans debate oin what is missing with wrestling. It seems like we are always missing the main problem, the stories. Wrestling is never going to change. It's a wrestling show, guys or gals throwing each other around in a ring. People either like it or they don't. However.... a great story reaches the outsiders and brings them in for a viewing and hopefully they stay. I take Nitro and The Attitude Era and I remember what worked. Both had a main story carrying the show from week to week. Nitro had the NWO with cruiserweights, tag division, celebrity involvement sprinkled in. Attitude Era had DX and Austin/McMahon.

Both companies used a main storyline to build their episodes and rosters. Top guys gave rubs to younger guys, instant elevation due to association. The biggest positive is that both companies rosters were one big storybook carried by the main storyline. I feel the WWE needs this main story. I have 3 stories to carry the WWE for 2014-2015. What do you think? What would be your top stories?

Story#1
Hogan returns as a heel and joins Heyman/Lesnar and The Shield.
Cena/Hogan confrontation leads to HH choosing Reigns as his guy.
Cena/Piper vs Reigns/Hogan Mania 2014. Cena/Reigns is written as our Austin/Rock. A year long feud involving the whole HH group. Hogan turns early '15 leading to Cena/Hogan vs Reigns/Heyman.

BigE joins late '14 only to butt heads with Lesnar. Lesnar/Langston Mania '15.
Ambrose, Rollins have "Best of" matches carrying the mid card level with Miz, Barrett, Kingston, Sandow, Ziggler, Fandango, Etc.


Story#2
Taker is The Devil behind The Wyatts.
Heels: Taker, Kane, Wyatt's (added talent as story develops)
Faces: Bryan, BigShow, Usos (added talent as story develops)

Story #3
HHH/HBK/Outlaws vs Punk/Mr.McMahon/Rhodes Brothers

I feel these 3 stories could carry RAW every week. The whole roster is being used or will be used as the stories develop and turns are made. Everyone is elevated to the main level and viewed as a top guy like the roster was in The Attitude Era. No more segment to segment story telling. Start the story and let it go for a year or so building as it goes.

lesnar has and will only be used against big established names, Langston wont be there for a good while. Reigns isn't popular or enough yet to bank on him being one of the biggest stars, he has a lot of potential but he's not there yet.

Bryans already done a few months of programing with the whyatts and really should be on his way to the wwe whc, taker wont be back full time maybe as a manager but even then im not so sure.

HBK wrstling again also not sure as for how long the NAO wil stick around is also in question and vince.

I think the general concept is good for your stories , and story telling definitely needs improving

Here is a tag team idea for a feud between The New Age Outlaws and The Real Americans. First you have The Real Americans keep losing for another month or so with the ending with Zeb Colter upset and tells them both that he isn't going to be with losers anymore. The reason for doing this is, because I think The Real Americans would be better suited as faces but won't be able to get over in my opinion as faces with Zeb by their side. Zeb can either manage another team to go after The Real Americans or wait as I'll explain at the end. With Zeb calling them losers it creates a spark between the two and they start winning. During this time you have the New Age Outlaws win the tag belts and have The Real Americans named number 1 contenders by winning some sort of Number 1 Contender match. During this time you can have X-Pac by the side of the Outlaws who keeps interfering helping out The Outlaws but The Real Americans end up getting Hulk Hogan which would make for a good mouth piece and boost to Swagger and Cesaro. Some may not like the idea with Hogan paired with The Real Americans but I think Hogan's best use at WM would to help two mid carders get a boost towards bigger programs.

Story #1 Roman's rise to the top
At Wrestlemania Reigns beat Ambrose (c) and Rollins to win the US title.
The next night Triple H tries to make him the corparate champ but Reigns tells him to go to hell so HHH tries to punish Reigns by making him def. the US title in a guantlet of big men at Extreme Rules but he overcomes the odds. RawTriple H tells hims he will defend his title against Mark Henry and the spear is banned Payback Reigns def. Ambrose with the superman punch. RawTriple H tells hims he will defend his title against Mark Henry and the spear and superman punch is banned. MITB Reigns has Henry down but HHH and Stephanie comes down Reigns does the "Suck It" Chop and Spears Henry for the win.The next night HHH fires him so Reigns beats his ass. The Next Week Reigns vows to destroy HHH's life until he get's his job back so he beat up every memeber of The Authority and every superstar he see's in the locker room ruining the show.The Next week HHH threatens Reigns if he show's up he will hurt him.Reigns appears on the tron he beats up Stephanie,Shane and Mr.McMahon at their house.He tells Hunter it's what's best for business.HHH tell's him listen here you son of a bitch i'll we hire you just to kick your ass at Summerslam.Reigns say's "I don't want my job back anymore unless you put your boots and suit and tie on the line.If I face you at Summerslam if I win your career is over.If you win i'll leave." HHH say's I accept Reigns say's all yeah and watch your back but from behind out of nowhere Reigns spears him. Smackdown HHH pedigree's Reigns.Orton comes out and RKO's Reigns afterwards.

Raw HHH claims he was only testing Reigns they shake hand but Orton comes out yelling at Hunter so Reigns Spears him.

Heading into Mania, I think the following could carry RAW/SD. I think all are unlikely, but definitely not impossible.

3. Have Punk "snap". Not joining "The AUthority", but being much more blunt and confident. Fed up with being screwed with, he states that he has "done everything there is to do in this business. Beaten everyone there is to beat" Leading to him calling out Stone Cold.

2. Any sort of feasible Cena "heel" turn. Could utilize weeks of programming and have fans waiting, salavating for that "moment".

1. Have Bryan interfere in the Authority's business consistently. Interrupting/Interfering in matches, Ultimately forcing them into allowing him a fair title shot.

Mentions: Wyatt/Shield feuds before the Shield splits. Sheamus Heel turn, could coincide with the reactions Reigns is about to get. IF WWE is really considering a unification of The IC/US titles (Which I, personally, don't think is a great Idea) Hold a tournament with matches that have a ton of potential, building up the mid card. Give the title holders a first round bye and have the Champ decided at mania. I could see a Ten man field:
BYES: Langston/Ambrose
Ziggler vs Tyson Kidd
Sandow vs Barrett
Rollins vs Cessaro
Drew McIntyre vs Fandango
Have it build up to a Rollins/Ambrose match in there. ave Reigns for bigger fish

I think there is some real potential for a " official Wwe speaker " angle running into and concluding at Wrestlemania 30.

There would be some fantastic mic work between The Miz. Damien sandow. Bad news barrett etc.

It would also get people who do not have a spot on the card some air time.

It could even culminate in a Piper's Pit at the Ppv and Rowdy Roddy announces the winner voted for by the Wwe universe.
