A short summary if you don't want to click the link.
Some people organized a mock funeral for Breaking Bad character Walter White. They had a hearse, the RV from the show and a police escort. They filled something with memorabilia and put it into the ground. There was a eulogy read.

Doesn't seem so bad right?

Apparently they decided to do this in an actual cemetery and a headstone is also being placed at the site. Some residents in the area feel it's disrespectful for the people that actually have deceased relatives in the cemetery. They want it removed. The cemetery said if it becomes a distraction they will move it.

A positive note on the story is that people paid $20 to attend and about 200 people attended. That money went to charity.

1. Is it in bad taste to do this in an actual cemetery?
2. Are people overreacting?

I'm personally torn myself. Having experienced a lot of people dying in my life I tend to be more serious about this kind of thing. I'm not sure what I would think about it if this happened at a cemetery where I go to visit people who have died.

If I had to lean one way or another I would lean towards not putting it in an actual cemetery.

What are your thoughts?
