Possibly the most pointless thing to happen to cinema in a long time. I mean the new wave, I know that shit has been around for a while now.

People don't like it if they think a ball is going to hit them in the face, I don't see how 3D is any different. I know the new stuff is supposed to immerse you in the film, but Coraline is stop motion so it's hardly going to have me thinking I'm there in the same room as them. I also don't know why I'd want to think I'm in a shit film with a bloke trying to kill me with a pickaxe.

Is it me, or is life in 3D?

I have no interest in going to see films in 3D. Avatar looks as shit as pretty much all of James Cameron's other movies - aside from Aliens - are. Ooh, it's about aliens and virtual reality. So, Aliens meets the Terminator then? Fuck off, you cunt. King of the world my ass.

You too, Spielberg and Jackson. The only way I could have been less interested in going to see a film about fucking Tintin is if you made it in 3D. Well here we are.

Fuck it, if Bay wants to makes Transformers 3: Rise of the Even Bigger Robots and Shia La Beowulf in 3D, I won't stop him. Transformers 3D, they'll call it. Marketing geniuses that they are.

I dont mind 3D at all. Coraline was great and the 3D didnt really put you in the movie, it made effects stand out more. When Superman Returns came out in 3D all it did was make effects stand out and well... try and fill out its half dressed storyline.

3D is Hollywood's version of a Cage Match. Its just a gimmick that tries to amplify the product. If ya dont like it, dont watch it. Luckily Hollywood usually gives us the choices of seeing it in 3D or not. Well... as long as the movie dosent have 3D in the title.
