FromtheThread

Yo. I left work at 5:30 yesterday and started drinking, slept for four hours, and started drinking again. I am feeling so bad.

I did, however, fall in love. So, you know, I got that going for me.

Once, but the sauce wasn't hot enough, and I lost interest.

Is it bad that every time my buddy's little sister comes to town, I fall in love with her again and again, and once she's gone I pine for her? I mean, he knows, and he's cool with it because all I do is make sure that she has a good time and keep other guys away from her, but he knows what I would do if she wasn't his sister.

1) I'm starting work on my Jack and the Beanstalk re-telling. I've got the basic idea down, but my characters can always surprise me. That's just how this shit rolls.

2) 2nd page?! Fuck you guys.

3) The dorm is super quiet. I'm not leaving for Spring Break until tomorrow, but most left today. Fuuuuck. It's actually creepy.

When I was in Austria, I spent the night of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in a completely empty 50 room hotel at the foot of the highest mountain in Germany. That was... interesting

I was going to start on the last stretch of my writing today, but it's Spring Break. I'm just lounging around in Cabot. I can't bring myself to write. It's not Writer's Block. I know my story and how to tell it. I just don't want to.

So I'm going to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. It shall be glorious.

Would that be called "Writers Lazy" or something?

As awesome as Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is (I beat the single player, but have yet to play it online), it is not as glorious as Madden NFL 10 (WZ has an Online Franchise you know, if you play on Xbox 360) or Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (on the X-Box). I just picked that up last week, and it is fucking awesome (if you like Star Wars and/or RPGs). Oh, and Batman Arkham Asylum (or however you spell it) is supposedly badass too, and it has Batman in it, making it more badass.

I'd just go with "Don't Give a Fuck."

1) There is no way in hell that KOTOR is cooler than Modern Warfare 2. It's pretty badass, but not that badass.

2) Call me a failure all you want, I still haven't gotten around to playing Arkham Asylum. All of my systems are at home with my brothers, and I have no money to actually buy a PS3 or Xbox. I shall see how that goes here now that I'm in Cabot for Spring Break, though.

I mean, as soon as we picked Styles we might as well have ended the league. We're letting this be a fun thing, you see.

The blasaphemy. My brothers bought some fucking Spongebob game, but only rented Batman: Arkham Asylum. I shall make sure heads roll. Or just go and get them to rent it again. I'm not sure which just yet.

but didn't your parents always tell you to do your homework before you go out and play, this way you don't have to think about it all week?

Since I am unable to play Modern Warfare 2 online (I played my bothers copy when I am home visiting my family), I can only judge on the Single player content, and KOTOR is one of the best single player games on X-Box/X-Box 360. I am maybe halfway done with it, and am already looking forward to playing again and be evil (I am going light side the first time, since I am a good person).

I am yet to play it either (except for a WalMart PS3 demo kiosk). My brother borrowed it from one of his friends, and I he played it relentlessly while I was home. From my limited experience (and watching it played) the game is fuckin badass. Definitely the best Batman game since Batman Forever for the SNES (I don't remember, but for some reason I think that game was OK. Maybe I am wrong).

So if you don't have a 360 or PS3, are you consoleless at school? If I were you, I would try and get one (or get an old one if you still have them lying around).

They did. However, I'm 19 years old, a college student, and on Spring Break. All advice goes out the window, really.

In all fairness, you can't really gauge a RPG against a shooter without taking the multiplayer into account. I will, however, agree that KOTOR is one of the best, if not the best, RPG on the XBOX. KOTOR 2 is rather damn good as well.

I remember that game. Used to piss me off as a kid. :lmao:

Yeah, I am. But I don't have the money to go and buy one myself. Actually, I do once I get my stipend. But I invariably spend it on various illegal or otherwise rather useless things.
