I haven't played an NBA game since ESPN NBA 2K4. I also have very limited interest in basketball. Fifa 09 was The Shit, and which NCAA (football or Basketball)? Madden needs new people, and the Online Franchise (no matter how barebones it is) has kept my interest 3 times longer then Madden usually does (it doesn't hurt the Madden is awesome this year). Also the Jets being good helped, because it kept me in a football mood longer.
If I had a job I would pick up Fifa, because I loved 09, and heard 10 was better.

I used to be the same about running the option. They did put in Wildcat, so you can actually run some option type plays in Madden now. This was the first year I found the QB best for the way I play the game. And that is Mark f'n Sanchez. He can throw pretty good, and is fast enough to scramble if needed. That was why I won the Super Bowl in year 1 of the WZ Online Franchise.
I may have to rent Live at some point, because I am starting to get back into basketball again (once LeBron comes to the Knicks I will be 100% in).
By the way, completely unrelated, there is a show on TruTV called NFL Full Contact, in which they go behind the scenes during an NFL game. This show is awesome (it airs Mondays 10-11 on TruTV).
