Frog Splash

I'd say say RVD's was better, he seemed to go higher and hit it from further distances. Though, Eddie's looked nicer.

Eddie Guerreros always seemed way more impactful. RVD's actually looks like he bounces OVERTOP of the guy, while it looked like Eddie was crushing whoever was on the receiving end.

Personally my favorite frog splash goes to Mike Awesome. This guy was pretty friggin big so his splashes always looked like he was completely crushing his opponent. I'm not taking anything away from Eddie or RVD but Mike Awesome just made his look more powerful. It looked like he would just allow all his weight to come down on his opponent. It was sick. Awesome Splash all the way.

I've got to give it to the guy that Eddie adopted it from, and that is Art Barr. It was impactful like Eddies, and had a crisp motion to it like that of D'Lo.

Okay here's what it is... Eddie, like anyone can do the Frog Splash on its basic level and yeah be known for it, but RVD's is the best of all time

thus the term 5 Star Frog Splash!

To take the move and modify it to such a degree!

To TURN IN MID-AIR!! if you havent seen it look it up, to get as high as he does

Off ladders, top ropes, anywhere, it just looks better in style than anyone else, his Frog Splash is DIFFERENT, and in a league all its own

I prefer Eddie's between the two, as it's more classic and impactful looking, though my personal favorite was Art Barr's. Best I've ever seen.

I'm going to have to say RVD. He makes the frog splash look insane. I love the way he looks both ways like he's crossing the street, leaps like he was just shot out of a cannon, and does the little roll off the opponent. Eddie had a nice one too, he could pull it off like no other. A true ring general.

Slight Edge To RVD!!! When The whole F*#&&^$ show does it the way he does it its just cool.. He torques his body to such a degree can twist at an angle and leap out farther than Eddie could ever do. RVD leg strength is unmatched that what allows him imo to leap out farther than anyone could ever do!!

I favor Eddie's Frog Splash but it's simply that... favoritism. I was a bigger fan of Eddie than I was ever for RVD... no disrespect to the man. So my favoritism makes me lean towards Eddie.

I honestly can't choose between them really.

RVD has a lot more classic moments with his, but I do think Eddie looks better flying.

For me it has to be Rob Van Dam, he is the master of the move.

I always thought the 5 Star looked the most devastating of all the Frog Splash's that I have seen. The impact that RVD hits the move looks greater, he could get higher than anyone else, the way he bounces off his opponent after landing the move is great and the way he sells the pain after landing on his victim emphasis the damage it causes.

Also, he could hit it from almost anywhere in the league, and the fact that he could rotate in mid air to land at a totally different angle is unique and spectacular.

I was never really a fan of Eddie Guerrero's, Christian's or Jushin Ligers, but I have to give an honourable mention to D'Lo Brown here. His Lo Down was brilliant, and I have never seen any other wrestler perform a frog splash the way Brown did. The way he swung his arms below his legs made for a unique, and very cool move.

But RVD has this one in the bag for me, the Five Star Frog Splash is a great move

I think RVD's 5 Star Frog Splash is the better Frog Splash. Hence the name 5 Star Frog Splash. To me it always looked like it had more of an impact on his opponent, also he could hit it from a longer distance and he could get more height to the move making it look better.

Ok I'm this might be a little bias since RVD is the greatest ever to enter the ring IN MY OPINION but anyway I liked his "one of a kind" frog splash, see what I did there? Why? memories with it,elevation, how he does it etc it's just amazing

I would say Eddie's frog splash is better. It seems safer on the person who is taking it. RVD's frog splash is like a big stone coming down. No matter how high he gets in the air, RVD hurts people. It was said that he hurts his opponents when he came over to wwe in the invasion and in some of his moves I see it. Last night it look like he came almost 100% on gunner with that splash. You got to be nervous getting in the ring with RVD. Why do you think none of the new guys don't get any advice from him. He is not the best in ring practitioner.

Personally, I think D'Lo Brown had a better frog splash than both of them. For a bigger dude, he got pretty high and he really crunched up and extended at just the right time. Definitely looked like it did more damage.
