Flagship Wrestler

I am surprised by the lack of support for Randy Orton.

He is very young, he's had the rub from top stars like HHH and Flair, he has it in him to draw great heel heat, he understands the heel psychology part of things, and he's also been a capable face. Add on to that the fact that he is starting to matureand you have a fantastic choice to start a company with.

Randy Orton was a terrible face. True story.

He wasn't great, but I wouldn't say he was terrible. He was average. He also had a VERY short face run, so it's a tough sample to draw from. His face run was akin to "Rocky Maivia" before he went heel and became "The Rock."

Orton would still be on my top 3 list.

He was face from September to March. That's more than enough time to establish yourself. He's a one note wrestler.

I would go for kennedy because of charimsa and I think can pull a good match with any one I other picks would be undertaker hbk, bret hart so he and hbk can settle their differences. triple h too also edge

Real madrid la liga champions 2007-2008

Id probably take MVP, altough its a toughie. MVP is better right now, but Im pretty sure Kennedy is much younger (a ten year prison stay will do that)

Yeah but Sly it depends on how you want to build the promotion. Do you want to promote In Ring and get the other as a bonus, or do you want to get a guy that can command what they are getting paid to be. I would go with the guy who gets what is wanted rather than a guy with mixed reactions.
That describes John Cena.

He's good in the ring, draws fantastically, and gets what he wants from the crowd which is every single person caring about him.

That's why I go with John Cena.

That is just me, I prefer Old School booking of Heel Vs. Face with the occasional Face Vs. Face and Heel Vs. Heel matches ups.
That'd be the only way I booked...

It also depends on how you want to build the promotion start big and depend on one guy and run the risk of Injury that will fuck up the promotion or start small and build up to a big promotion with a young under 30 year old.
John Cena is only 30 years old. He's got a minimum of 12 years left in him.

That is why I mentioned Ricky Landell as that type of Wrestler that could draw in the future if given the opportunity and time to build himself up to that level.
I'd prefer not to go under before I start. Ricky Landell? Nobody's heard of him.

I'd take Kennedy over MVP anyday.

MVP is going to be one of those that can't play a face for shit.
Kennedy can't do either one.

He gets smattering of cheers as a heel, and gets little reaction as a face. Just wait and see. As time goes on, his face value will drop just like it did last time.

Yeah Sly, obviously 3 weeks into his run, you know what's going to happen.

Yeah....Riight. Also, what last time? His little tweener run last year? ROFL. Piss poor excuse right there Sly. He got injured like a week or 2 into it.

BTW NorCal, I'd love to answer this question you had...

Ok, so, someone direct me to why exactly Kennedy Vs Regal isnt happening here?? At least the first in a series of matches???

Because Triple H wants Regal all to himself after he's done with Orton.

So instead of furthering Kennedy's face push. Triple H is blocking it.

Typical.

I didn't say he wasn't getting good pops now, I said wait and see what happens.

And just like last time, he'll get crickets chirping.

If It were 98: Austin
01: The Rock
04: Triple-H
Today: John Cena

But I would NOT and I repeat NOT book him to win every damn match! I actually want to keep my audience entertained....

this is how a typical Cena year would be for all 12 pay-perviews, Cena would win 8 of the 12 matches....fairly fair...two thirds no one gets pissed and I would have him have title reigns of 4 months, 7 months max! I would also turn him heel when the time is right....my 2nd star in the federation would be MRRR...... KENNEDY, KENNEDY.
THEN MVP
TRIPLE-H CAN PLAY A GM ROLE.

I would have to go with Cena as well.

But man, it would be extremely hard for me to not take AJ Styles though.
