Finlay Rehired By WWE

I'm surprised you're so adamantly shtting on the product. The weekly TV show has been really good, for a while now. We've seen a bunch of good matches from all comers -- Michael Elgin has been shining through as ROH's next star, in particular. ROH's talent pool is fairly full, but you're saying the exact opposite. You're lambasting Steen and Lethal for their looks, and Ciampa for his lack of a gimmick, but all those guys have been exceeding expectations, especially Steen (dude is the best thing going in wrestling today).

I watch because I'm huge fans of

1. Kevin Steen
2. Truth Martini
3. Steve Corino.

I've always watched the WWE and almost all ppvs for the last 12 years, but I'm not going to say that because I watch it I think it's good all the time.

Elgin I don't really have an opinion on.

I hate Davey Richards wrestling style, so I'm happy the belt is off him. Steen is undeniably awesome right now, but that doesn't mean he looks doesn't look like shit doing it. He should be in better shape.

Why should he be in better shape? The point is to entertain the fans, not to look like a bodybuilder. I'll take Steen over guys like Mason Ryan any day.

No doubt , but I think he diminishes himself in his current shape. He is settling. I think he could be much better and his gut holds him back of that top level.
I'm not saying he needs to be chiseled, but he has 0 definition. His gut is massive.

He does the pyramid thing so many times. I just don't get it.

You do realize he is young, right? The guy is trying to hone his craft in Ring of Honor. He makes a good heel, he can speak, he is improving in the ring. Again, I don't like him, but you're exaggerating to a wayward extent.

2.I like Steen. He is great on the mic and puts on good matches. With saying that the way he looks will hold him back rightfully or wrongfully, but it's true. His gut is massive.

Tell that to The Rock and Mick Foley. The Rock who has complimented Steen via Twitter for "kickin' ass," and Mick Foley who was once told he didn't have the athletic build to go far in the business. You remember what happened to Mick? Kind of became a big deal. Steen has a gut, but he is a big guy, again, in a singlet which he still wears when performing for some promotions he looks fine.

3. I don't care if Jay Lethal is a 6 time x-division champion. Lethal v. Pyramid guy is the worst feud in wrestling.

Legit, are you in contact with Mark Madden?

For instance imo ADR sucks, but he has tons of accolades. I still think he sucks.

Alberto Del Rio's persona is boring, in-ring he is an exceptional wrestler. Which is where you seem to be lost here. You said Jay Lethal's "best days are behind him," then you bring up Del Rio who you think "sucks," nobody ever says Alberto sucks in the ring, his persona just isn't as interesting as others.

Thats how I feel about Lethal. Ciampa I might change my mind eventually on but he needs to relax with the pyramids. He does it every 5 seconds. Maybe I just don't understand it. But it looks dumb.

Well I'll tell you what, considering you alluded to Ric Flair, if Ric Flair thought high enough of Jay Lethal to give him the rub as well as Randy Savage, again, your opinion on the matter becomes completely irrelevant, who knows talent? Ric Flair and Randy Savage... or you? Pretty simple answer.

4. I don't quite understand how I would need to explain why the WGTT and Briscoes are amazing. Can you please tell me first why they aren't better.

So because you can't answer the question, you'll turn it on me, that how this works? Okay, well to begin with taking nothing away from either team, as individuals they aren't as strong as exaggerate them to be. Marc and Jay as singles competitors wouldn't be the same as they when teaming, we saw Shelton and Charlie solo in WWE, despite being a phenomenal athlete Shelton Benjamin self admittedly lacks in other areas, he has been working on his technical ability and speaking skills. It's pretty evident considering Charlie Hass does a majority of the speaking, right?

From top to bottom, Ring of Honor has more all around talented guys than all four as individuals. You are attempting to compare them as teams to the rest of the roster, which is unfair because you're comparing the talents of two separate individuals with contrasting abilities(e.g. Shelton is a great athlete, can't speak all too well, but improving. Charlie Hass is more ground and pound, can cut some tremendous promos, especially as a heel.) As singular wrestlers, Kevin Steen could out perform all four, better all around competitor, style is more diverse because he can be technical, he can brawl, he can be submissive; basically asides from high flying there isn't a style Kevin Steen doesn't know.

I'll make another comparison, Michael Elgin is better performer than all four individuals. Has more strength than all, sans Charlie Hass who's a beast. He's better technically than all four, if you wish to debate that, watch his match with Davey and attempt to tell me otherwise. Speed he isn't as good at, and he doesn't have a diverse amount of styles, but considering Elgin has rose very high, very fast, his speed for a man of his size, mixed with his dominance and wrestling ability is better.

You are trying to compare two guys, to one. That is like me taking the Road Warriors and saying they're better than Stone Cold Steve Austin. There are two of them, and one of him. I could make the comparison for RW and Hollywood Blondes, but you can't make a fair comparison for two on one. But once you make it Hawk and Austin, or Animal and Austin, Steve wins every time.

He will never have a spot light as big as Ric Flair. His best days in wrestling are behind him.

In a year he went from feuding with Ric Flair 16 time World champ to Tommaso Ciampa. lol

No, my point is he best days aren't necessarily behind him. He's had good days, now they aren't so good. But a person which as much experience as he has, even working with many of the biggest names in the industry of all time, and of the last decade means you can't say for certain that he's dead and gone.

He's not even close to 30 yet. As a wrestler he hasn't even hit his prime I wouldn't be surprised if Lethal got into a position where he's doing top flight work again in the future.

Mick Foley wasn't exactly Chris Masters either, but again, he went on to achieve great things. Also, an odd note, Foley may have been two inches taller, but he was also heavier going into his match with Terry Funk in Japan than Steen, who's around the same age as Foley was then, is now.
