Mines is Shawn Michaels parody of Hulk Hogan.

I've seen a lot of parodies of Hulk Hogan but this one cracked me up the most. I was in pieces at him saying "Brother" after every sentence and his acting is hilarious. The Superkick to the Larry King impersonator and to the camera at the end was an epic ending,

So what is yours?

P.S I apologize if the Youtube video does not show up.

I echo your sentiments, as far as being a fan goes I love both characters greatly. I know there was a lot of backstage rumor going on about Hogan's political stroke and Shawn's frustration about it, however it wasn't enough to stop these two from working together and for as zany and silly as the match was with Shawn's overselling, if you were a fan of wrestling like I was back in the eighties, what Shawn did in that match was par for the course of what an 80s style match was.

Now as far as my personal favorite parody goes, like I said the HBK-Hogan one is up there, however I also liked the Billionaire Ted skits. Now I have spoken of those skits in the past on other threads, I personally never had a problem with the skits, I only cite the skits in arguments with fans who always are quick to mention that TNA brings up WWE far too much on their broadcasts, which is true in certain contexts. But when WWE was still the WWF, they went for the jugular with the Billionaire Ted skits by highlighting a lot of Ted Turner's controversies and finding some way to tie that into also spoofing guys that the WCW were able to lure away from WWF, like Hogan, Macho Man and Mean Gene.

However, looking past that, the whole Huckster and Nacho Man characters along with Scheme Gene were GREAT. I mean even though these guys were older by this time and not up to their 80s level of stardom (just yet at least, as we all know the nWo was just on the horizon) the fact that Vince parodied them showed that they were still popular enough to even make mention of on prime time TV. In my opinion it was a win-win for both sides, the WCW guys got exposure from their old company by being parodied and on WCW programming they still had their profile in the company.

I enjoyed both companies at the time and felt no offense as a fan seeing what WWF was doing to WCW. I only mention that when people bring it up today about TNA taking shots at WWE, they should seriously go back and watch those segments and realize WWE is not an innocent company by any means when it comes to this charge.

Another amusing parody that should get a mention was Jillian Hall, it lost its cuteness after a couple of weeks but it was slightly amusing to see Hogan's daughter get lampooned. Again I have no begrudging feelings towards Hulk Hogan but I'm not going to resort to the level of a mark that is going to blindly defend everything about the guy.

There are countless other moments that I am sure other posters can throw out here, but great topic man, thanks for the trigger here to throw out some memories here lol!

Go here to see the first Billionaire Ted Skit, great stuff:

I liked when the Rock mocked the catchphrases of the older wrestlers. I maybe wrong, but I don't think anyone ever mocked someone else like that at the time and considering that those phrases he mocked were at the time, all WCW wrestlers, it seemed very innovative and helped to put him over even more

If I'm thinking all time, I probably have to go with the DX parody of the Nation. Perfectly executed. It's not easy for a bunch of white guys to parody something like the nation and not have it look racist, but they pulled it off. I still go back and watch it sometimes, it's that good.

More recently, the Miz coming out as the Rock was AWESOME to say the least. The crowd pop when the music hit was great, and even after he came out, he looked so good it took a while to realize who it was. He nailed the mannerisms in the ring perfectly as well.

My favorite wrestling parody was "Ready 2 Rumble". I don't really care if it lead to David Arquette winning the WCW title (mostly because I didn't care at all about WCW back then), but it's entertaining and pretty quotable in a very obscure sort of way. My one friend will still answer his phone "Sal Bandini! Wanna wrestle?"
My friends and I watch it after every Mania.

my 3 favorite parodies would have 2 be....

DX as the Nation of Domination. Triple H as "The Crock" with his painted on eyebrow, X-Pac as "Miz-ark Henry" speaking like Fat Albert & the guy who was Owen Hart was hilarious

Shawn Michaels as Hulk Hogan was hilarious, especially when he super kicked Larry King @ the end. his impression of the Hulkster was just as good as the impression of Hogan that I used 2 do when I was 12

the nWo parody of the 4 Horsemen was by far the best. Syxx (X-Pac) was a bonafide FOOL as Ric Flair with the fake nose & shouting "WOOOOOOO" after everyone else involed in the parody made a comment, but the funniest part of that particular parody was Kevin Nash as Arn Anderson....
"I'm gonna give U a spot, not a liver spot, not a dog spot, not an ink spot, but my spot"

I think my being stimulated while watching these parodies made them even more funny....

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

LOL

the NWO parody of the 4 horsemen/ Arn Anderson retirement was great at the time. I am a huge Horseman fan and thought it was great.
It was kind of ruined for me later when I heard that Arn and Flair didn't know about it in advance and were kind of hurt by it but that doesn't change the fact that it was great as I watched it live.

Great picks by SirJoseOle & wrestler36, I shall give you two some reps right now. I loved the Billionaire Ted skits, one of the reasons why I enjoyed watching the 96 Raw's and The Rock's impersonations of past wrestlers' catchphrases is another favourite of mine. Shawn Michaels' reaction after Rock said Flair's catchphrase was priceless. I also give honorable mentions to the guys who mentioned the NOD parody by DX & Jason Sensation, they came out with classic lines but when I was watching it at the time, I felt The Rock, who had come out following that parody and did his catchphrase impersonations, stole the segment but that's just me because I'm a Rock mark.

Most of the best ones have all been mentioned here already. The Nacho Man stuff is obviously classic, along with those early DX skits. Then there's Jericho's Dean Malenko parody which is fairly legendary.

I'll mention one that people often seem to forget. Kevin Nash doing Sid Vicious. It's immature and not the greatest impression ever, but the mask cracks me up every single time. Plus Sid made his classic "I have half the brain that you do" comment afterwards.

How this doesn't get mentioned is beyond me. The bWo was such a long-running parody people might not even realize it as such. But this is one of the most hilarious things you'll ever see parody wise in wrestling. it was also one of the most popular, and got huge pops no matter what. You can say it was because it was ECW and everyone was popular, but that is a weak argument. It still got cheered, bottom line. Plus, who doesn't love Blue Meanie?

This is one hilarious parpdy, and deserves recognition. It gets my vote.

TNA doing a parody of either ROH or Attitude Era WWF. Even better, the Impact Zone fans doing smarks. They're hilarious. I mean there's no way someone could so blatantly immitate something and have it come across as hilariously awful without meaning to right.....RIGHT!?!?!?

In all seriousness though, I like Austin's in ECW doing all the WCW guys that were booked over him.

My favourite parody guy in wrestling is Jason Sensation, one of the best impersonators that I have ever seen, and the guy who played Owen Hart in the famous Nation of Domination parody by DX.

His voices are incredible, check out this clip from You Tube of him imitating several superstars, including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels. He is insanely talented when it comes to voices, and should definitely have made a career in TV or comedy or something. He gets the imitations spot on.

I was watching the Jason Sensation video above and it reminded me about Shark Boy. I imagine most people didn't care for it much, but I found Shark Boy pretty entertaining. He's probably one of my favourite wrestling parodies now I think about it.

If you break it down, it's ridiculous. A man dressed as a shark doing an impression of Stone Cold. But it was really well done. It was a good impression. "And that's the fishing line, cos Shark Boy said so". "Give me a shell yeah". I'm pretty sure he once said he was going to stick some fish straight up someone's bass as well.

Maybe not my favorite but a gimmick I got a lot of enjoyment out of. Gillberg and his own streak was quite funny. The look was perfect to pull this off.

And Thats The Fishing Line!!!

Shark Boy is hilarious as Stone Cold. He gets the voice spot on, and I love how the famous Austin catchphrases have all been switched to fish-related ones, and they all fit in great!

He is definitely one of the funniest parodies I have seen in wrestling, along with Jay Lethal absolutely nailing the Macho Man impression

I had never heard of the NWO parody of the 4 Horsemen before, so I decided to check it out and I have a few notes. One, Konnan didn't do anything relevant and just looked weird as all hell. Two, Buff didn't do a whole lot to nail the Hennig character other than doing the towel bit. Three, Nash was funny as hell but he milked the walk to the ring a bit too much for me. Four, the whole thing just ran a wee bit too long. But finally, that was easily the most entertaining thing I have ever seen Waltman do in his entire fucking career. He parodied Flair better than anyone I've ever seen before.

Another one that I kind of liked was Shawn Michaels parody of Shane McMahon. That dancing around bit was funny as shit and he totally upstaged Hunter doing Vince, though that was fairly funny as well.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

John Morrison and the Miz make fun of Mark Henry, Tony Atlas, and Matt Hardy on The Dirt Sheet. This was hilarious and now I miss these segments. Probably my favorite of all because of how funny it was. I never took Tony Atlas seriously again after that. Is that Mark Henry with a CHAMPIONSHIP? Wow, only on ECW, right? John Morrison should begin doing things like this again. People say his mic skills are bad, bring back these sarcastic moments and he'll quickly become the secondary face on Raw behind Cena.

Here's another one. I still can't stand Miz as a main eventer, but this was the moment when I began to take him more seriously. These are the types of promos he should be still be doing if he wants to be the top heel. If he did something like this making fun of a different guy each week, he'd get better reactions and could turn tweener or face by the time he runs out of faces to mock and starts mocking the heels. Did I just say that? One of Miz's best and even though I hate that he's champion, this is what we need to see more of.

There's also one of Edge and Randy Orton impersonating the DX entrance back when they were team Rated RKO. Edge was Trips and Orton was Michaels. I could not find a video, but that's one worth checking out if you manage to find it. Hilarious and even funnier than DX impersonating the McMahons.

By my name alone, I'm sure it's pretty obvious which parody is my favorite. DX imitating The Nation of Domination ranks up there with one of the funny wrestling moments I have ever seen, as a fan. From The Crock, to Mizark Henry, to B-Lo Brown, I loved it all. The mannerisms were over the top, the promo itself was hilarious, and I'm not sure anybody could have pulled it off as well as DX did. On top of that, it was just a good way to push the persona that DX was trying to come into, it also pushed the feud well. All-around great job.

one of my favorites that hasn't been mentioned yet (as I loved the dx impersonation of the nation, and also enjoyed the miz's portrayal of cena amongst others..)

was the fake mankind (Mideon) skits when mankind was fueding with HHH.... Those were some good times...

I'll also throw in the miz impersonating the rock, because i mean hey, hey fooled the crowd into thinking he WAS the rock for a while... that has to count for something

OMG DX doign the McMahons, which has been mentioned already had my wife and I in stitches. HBK dancing around like Shane and HHH yelling 'KNOCK IT OFF'...Great stuff.
