Ok, So this is my first Thread and I've looked everywhere and coudn't find a post similar to this.

So here I was sitting watching some old Raws From 99, 01, and there were some amazing moments on some of shows which had me thinking what do you think Is the greatest moment of the attitude era?

I'm not sure about you but this is a tough decision for me, but it is probably got to be a moment with Mcmahon and Austin there was so many great ones, Stone cold attacking Mcmahon in hospital with a bedpan, The Mcmahon 3:16 said I just pissed my pants etc, some of the hilarious original DX moments Or even maybe some moments with the Rock and Mankind, There is so many because it was the golden era in wrestling but I'm going to have to go with When Stone cold turned on the WWF and sided with the alliance It was just something I didn't see coming at all and he was great in the character he played after that, I wouldn't say it was Heel, I'm not sure what I would class it as.

So do you agree? Disagree? what are your thoughts? and what are your favourite moment of the attitude era?

I have two moments that I thought were pretty great.

The first is the RAW when Stone Cold drove the Zamboni down to the ring and attacked Mr. McMahon. It looked like he has a little trouble with the breaks and actually hit the ring. I was at this RAW and the place popped big time.

The second moment that stands out to me is when Mankind threw the Rock a birthday party in the ring. I remember the Rock saying something about poontang pie, Yurple the Clown, and an old teacher....classic

i have a few, in no particular order:

1. dx parody of the nation of domination. hilarious. Road Dogg Jesse James stole this moment for me.
2. any McMahon/Austin moment: Vince 3:16, Zamboni, hospital attack with the bedpan, any demolition caused by Austin and a vehicle (Monster Truck, Cement Mixer, etc), and of course the beer bash, etc.
3. This Is Your Life, Rock! Foley was a genius here, but Rock was great with his promos on all of his responses to people from his past.

many more, but i was only supposed to list one, so i'll stop here.

The Sable hand print bikini....need I say more.

For a young lad it was absolutely immense. I cant remember how old I was, maybe 11 or 12? In school, wrestling was REALLY popular and all the lads were swapping video tapes and I can remember everyone was really desperate to get their hands on a copy of the show where Sable went topless with the hand paint on her tits...obviously I made sure I was one of the lucky ones. We all thought Sable was the hottest woman on the face of the earth at that point!

Ahhhh Sable. Mark Mero you lucky son of a bitch!!!

The Mick Foley / Mankind sit-down interviews with Jim Ross.

I've been a wrestling fan for over 20 years, and these are probably some of the best interview / promo / worked shoot segments I've ever seen. Highlights for me include:

1. Why he got into pro-wrestling in the first place. Getting kicked in the mouth when he was a kid and the "pop" he got from the other kids from the blood that flowed. He realized that only in pro-wrestling could he "bleed for a living."

2. Talking about Shawn Michales and why he despises him so much. Reveals that he actually wanted to be the Heartbreak Kid... not the WWF champ, but the popular, good-looking guy who got all the girls.

3. Various "in-character" comments referring to how he wishes nothing but trauma and tragedy in other WWF wrestlers personal and professional lives. Stating how he wants the pain to be on the other side of the equation, and how he'd like to be the one to cause it.

4. The "breakdown" between himself and J.R., accusing Ross of not being truthful with the fans when he says that Mankind "likes pain." Talking about how he needs to have a 12-inch needle injected in his back so he can wrestle one more match. The "family" side of things where he can't play with his kids because of what he does. The end segment where he hits "Jimmy" with the mandible claw and then becomes compassionate, almost completely removed from the situation when he calls for someone to help Ross afterwards.

A great set of promo work that I don't think anyone has ever really touched, let alone surpassed.

Favorite moment of the attitude era would have to be the BEAT DOWN Kane and Undertaker gave Vince after Vince was caught flipping Undertaker the birdie behind his back...funny stuff. This beating was definetly more ruthless and brutal than any of the many ass-whoopings Stone Cold gave Vince imo.

damn there's alot of moments were great in the attitude era. But I'll make a top ten of my favorite moments.

10. Vince Mcmaohn being the leader of the cooperate ministry (sorry for my spelling) - Ok when the Undertaker said there was a higher power I'd never thought it would be vince. I was expecting paul bearer. but if it was had to be bearer we would never hear the classic line. " IT'S ME AUSTIN!!!! IT WAS ME ALL ALONG AUSTIN!!!!".

9. Stone cold getting ran over - Ok I was upset when stone cold got ran over. but the storyline was good. It was like a mystery story. and everyone was expecting The Rock to be the one that ran down Austin but in a shock It was Rikishi. Rikishi ran down stone cold because he said he did it for the rock. but really HHH hired rikishi to run over austin.

8. jericho debuts on RAW - Now this was the best career move for Jericho If he would have stayed in wcw he would completely gotten burried. and the debut was epically awesome. the millenium countdown and jericho debuting was one of my favorites.

7. Austin sprays beer alover the cooperation - this was hillarious nuff said.

6. The hell in a cell (mankind vs Undertaker) - this whole match was a great moment with undertaker chokeslaming foley thorugh the cell to taker throwing foley off the cell through the announce table.

5. kane's Debut - ok jericho debut was awesome but I liked kane's debut better he was a force to be wrecking with. it sucked he won the world title for one day and it took him about 10 years later to get a another good title reing.

4. Austin vs Hart WM 13 - epic match five stars this is a hell of a match a face and heel turn both in a same match thats great.

3. The rock this is your life - this moment was Hillairious every moment was great.

2. austin vs mcmaohn - this was the rivalry of the whole additude era. with austin driving the zamboni to mcmaohn having austin arrested to austin pooring cement in mcamohn's car to making vince piss his pants. this was a great rivary maybe the best rivalry with kane vs taker being a close second.

1. Austin's king of the ring victory speech - this was the moment that kicked off the greatest era in wrestling history. and the greatest quotes of all time. "You sit there and you thump your Bible, and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere! Talk about your psalms, talk about John 3:16... Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ass!" IMO this was the moment that kicked off the additude era and it was the best.

Austin attacking with the beer truck. Probably one of the craziest things I've ever seen in wrestling.

But when Stone Cold broke into Brian Pillman's house and Pillman shot Austin, was in fact THE craziest thing I've ever seen in wrestling. This elevated the entire Attitude Era to a whole other level in my opinion.

I have to agree with this moment. The whole sequence where Austin drove into the arena with the zamboni and attacked McMahon was great. But the icing on the cake, and possibly the most underrated moment in Raw history, was the glorious beat down that McMahon received at the hands of the Brothers of Destruction. The look on McMahon's face when he got caught was priceless. The funny part was the crowd didn't know whether Kane was going to turn on Undertaker or not, but when Kane joined in on the beat down, the crowd went absolutely nuts! And give McMahon credit: he did a masterful job selling the beating, providing a great payoff for the fans. The whole sequence set forth in motion the Bedpan 3:16, the emergence of Mr. Socko, the emergence of Shane McMahon into the show, and so many other moments we associate with the Attitude Era from 1998 to early 99. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6RfHc5EEbI
