Favourite cancelled shows

Without a doubt, it's either Married...with Children or Boston Legal. And yes, I understand that I said without a doubt and then gave two options. Leave me alone.

Anyways, Married with Children had a pretty good run, and by the time they went off the air, it was pretty much done with anyways. Boston Legal, on the other hand, was so fuckin' funny, I watch and re-watch those episodes all the time. James Spader's character is so good, I constantly find myself watching other shows that have a lawyer and thinking to myself "If only that was Alan Shore...". The show was canceled because it didn't get good advertising revenue, as it wasn't strong in the right demographics.

No way, Boston Legal is cancelled? Over here they are still showing new series so I thought it was still running. Thats a shame actually I like watching that, granted I only ever watched it first time because William Shatner rules (ever seen Loaded Weapon?) but it caught me and I was kinda hooked.

Shit thats ruined my day.

Journeyman, The Dead Zone, Invader Zim, Deadwood, Angel and Bionic Woman.

A couple throw-backs in there, a couple new shows from about a year ago or so. Journey Man had a great cast, great premise. Same with Bionic Woman - they were finally going somewhere, only to yank it off the air? Senseless.

Invader Zim was brilliance. It was not intended for children in the least, and I am happy it survived as long as it did.

Deadwood was always going to be quality -- and the little I saw of it I loved. I am in the process of acquiring the DVDs. Same with Angel, and I guess even to an extent with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I believe that while those shows lasted for some time (six, seven seasons) there was little reason to cancel them as they were solid and had fan-base.

Besides, there isn't enough of James Masters on TV these days.

I can agree with Deadwood and Invader Zim, both of which entertained me greatly. Never watched Deadzone, Bionic Woman and couldnt really stand Angel. But definately with you on Deadwood and Zim, Deadwood was just so horrible and gritty that you had to love it, it was so real. Zim was just funny as fuck. Shame.

Jericho is a show that I still cannot understand why it was cancelled. Maybe it wasn't the biggest ratings getter, but what the fuck did they expect when they first put it on against American Idol, and then moved it into the 10 o clock spot afterwards? Could they honestly expect much success with those time slots? The show was good in the first season, but the ending of the first season and the entire second season showed just how freaking good this show could be. And then they cancelled it, again, for the 2nd time after a fan write-in brought the show back on air.

Seriously CBS? What show was it that was just dying to take over Jericho's spot? Crappy Julia-Louis Dreyfuss show number 12?

Still angry about that. It ended so abrubtly, that show needed atleast one more season to really catch it's stride.

Also; Greg the Bunny. Anyone remember that show? Freakin' hilarious. And of course Arrested Development.

I hate Fox. They cancel shows faster then any other network. If it's not a hit within 5 episodes, the show is scrapped.

Jericho I loved, I watched it just because of the name and really liked it. I didnt realise it was actually cancelled until recently though, great premise and well executed. It's another shame really.

I got into the show Tru Calling. I liked that show because it was kind of like a oh, I really don't know how to say it. Anyways, the show was about a girl that worked in a morgue that heard and saw the bodies ask "Her" for help. The point to the show was that she would try and track down these people before they were killed and try and warn them that they were going to die if they did this or that. She was, you could say psychic. Eliza Dushku was the girl. I like shows that can predict the future to help people out(if they can). This show only made like a season and half and then was cancelled. I think it started in 2003.

Another one I didnt realise was cancelled, I liked this because I could just chill and watch it. Although I was kinda sucked in when the stories got deaper. Another shame.

TITUS- That show was funny every week the cast was hilarious and Stacy Keach was the Man and Christpher Titus is the funniest comedian to get his own show and YES i said the funniest i've seen seinfield live and laughed maybe twice Titus had me rolling the whole time it was a great show but once again FOX sucks.

Veronica Mars-It had the The best young cast on TV the storys were always good and Kristen Bell is just hot and then she gets on that crap show Heroes only to get axed but good thing i heard there making a movie to close things out.

Not sure about Veronica Mars but a friend of mine made me watch TITUS on Youtube and it was great. Stacy Keach is indeed the man, although I am more of a Seinfield fan than you I will say that TITUS deserved to go on. Even if I could only watch it on Youtube.
