Getting Noticed By Management
In light of the recent switch from Stone Cold Steve Austin to Chris Jericho as the official after Raw Podcast Host I thought it would be interesting to discuss what the people think. The question is simple: Which is Your Favorite Podcast that discusses WWE related content?
First we got The Ross Report with Good Ol JR as its host. He has an insane wrestling mind complemented with a very good memory. he talks about the 70s,80s, 90s, all the way up to the current status to the company. He covers the reviews of the PPVs, talks about what happened on Raw and Smackdown (with a little NXT on the side) along with a wide variety of guests. Most of those guests are no longer with WWE because the company doesn't allow its talents to appear on his podcast for some reason. He brings legends to talk about the good old days, has Dave Meltzer to review PPVs and basically brings a more cerebral insight of the business. As a negative, sometimes he rambles a bit too much and some of his interviews are not for everyone (since he talks to some guys from previous decades wrestling fans that focus on the current stuff might not be interested in those episodes)
Second We The Steve Austin Show with Stone Cold Steve Austin as its host. Austin brings his whole attitude to the podcast. He has an unleashed (explicit) and a clean version. both have their positives and their negatives. He is hilarious on his podcasts, he has amazing WWE current contract performers come in and he also has legends from the past so he keeps it balanced. He reviews PPVs with Wade Keller and keeps up to date with most current WWE events. I also like that he isnt afraid to ask the hard questions although he does this less when its a WWE podcast instead a Steve Austin podcast. As a negative, his unleashed show he sometimes just rambles on about hunting deer. Some of those episode can be hilarious but some just miss the mark.
Thirdly We have Talk Is Jericho with Chris Jericho as its Host. Again positives and negatives. As a positive he is very passionate and keeps it light. He is funny but not hilarious. He brings a wide variety of guests. He brings current WWE performers, Legends, pornstars, rock stars, Film and tv stars, among others. He talks about the current going ons with WWE, reviews the PPVs with Dave Meltzer as well. As a negative, sometimes he keeps it too light and doesnt ask the hard questions, and sometimes as a WWE fan some of his guests, since some of them have nothing to do with WWE, are kinda boring and I skip those episodes.
Obviously there are other podcasts but I dont listen to them. Gerwick Report, The Roddy Piper Podcast, Tommy Dreamer has one, Colt Cabana as well but they havent really grabbed me.
So, Whats your favorite WWE related Podcast?
