I know Rocky is his most famous roll and I enjoyed all the Rocky movies very much but the fact I don't really like Sports movies keeps them from being my favorite.

Why did I pick this one?
1 I enjoy it every time I watch it.

2 Stallone works well with everyone in this movie, most notibly Snipes &
Bullock.

I don't really know what else to add to the list. It's just an all around great movie from the plot to the storyline to the casting. I don't think this movie would have worked without Stallone, Bullock or Snipes in their 3 Roles.

Rocky - bar none. Rocky was a film in my opinion, not just a movie. It was charming, and it told a story about a man, and less about a boxer. As the series went on the movies became more about boxing, but the first Rocky was truly special.

Rock y and because that was the only Stallon emovie i already saw, Rocky told the truth of the personal lives behind boxers.

Rambo

I am going to choose one of his latest films, and that is coming from a HUGE Rocky fan!

I watched the fourth Rambo film at the cinema on the day it was released...and had to go to a different cinema as not all were willing to show it due to the carnage!

I came out of the cinema and sat in the car with my friend in silence. I was completely in shock due to the sheer amount of people Rambo kills during the film, its AROUND 80, with 200+ kills in the entire film. He absolutely demolishes an entire army and the action in the film far outweighs anything else in the series.

Rocky 2 is probably the best film he ever made, but Rambo 4 is my favourite. I must have seen it about 6 times now, and its perfect post-pub entertainment with the lads after a few pints. Pure carnage

My favorite movie starring Stallone is Rocky 4. It was tough to pick a movie between all of the Rocky's and Rambo's, as those are his best roles in my opinion, but I went with Rocky 4 as my favorite movie of his as it is one I always enjoy each time I watch it and it has such a great story to it. Soundtrack's not bad either.

Rocky.
"Your gonna eat lightning and your gonna crap thunder"

Rocky is about a poor boxer living his life in Philadalphia. His life changes when an invitation from the heavyweight champ Apollo Creed is given to him.

Romance, Drama, Fight.

Story- With minimum resources and low money, this movie was an underdog itself. Stallone wrote it and fought to play Rocky. When they were low on resources, they changed the story all together and made it even better. The story is flawless and keeps you on the edge of your seat. 9/10

Music- The best thing about the movie itself. The music in this movie is guaranteed to give you goosebumps every time you watch it. Bill Conti gives you an excellent score throughout the movie, including the famous "gonna fly now". 10/10

Acting- 4 nominated performances in this movie. The acting is very good as well, especially Burgess Meredith who offers one of the greatest acts I have ever seen. Stallone plays Rocky Balboa and changes his voice very well to be Rocky. He did a very good job. Talia Shire plays Adrian, a shy pet store owner who has never had a BF before. She did a good job as well. Burt Young plays the drunkard Paulie. Burgess Merideth plays the boxing trainer Mickey. I have never seen a better performance. 9.5/10

Stallone fought for this triumphant movie that made me want to go the distance (sounds corny but its true). It made me strive to work harder and not give up. If you haven't seen this, buy it and watch it. I'll guarantee it will change you too. A classic.

I give it a perfect 10/10

Rocky III is my favorite Rocky film, and I can't count the number of times I've watched this one.

Stallone had to endure a lot in Rocky III. He had to deal with Mickey's tragic death, and Clubber Lang proved to be a real test for Rocky. Rocky fell into a comfort zone in this film, and he didn't have the same fire he had before, but the ass whipping he received from Lang proved to be the wake up call he desperately needed. Rocky didn't believe in himself anymore, but this passionate speech from Adrian gave him a huge boost:

This is probably my favorite Rocky scene of all time. Rocky needed to regain his confidence, and this speech fueled the fire. Adrian was so strong, and she refused to let Rocky off of the hook. She forced the truth out of him, and she wasn't going to let him pass with a half ass answer.

Mr. T was so intimidating and mean, and he was VERY believable, as the hungry and scary fighter who wanted the top spot. Rocky had to overcome his fears, and he managed to defeat Lang in the last fight. The fight was awesome, because Stallone did such a great job of showing anger, as Lang was trying to beat his brains out. Rocky took out his toughest foe, and at the end of the film, he reclaimed his spot as the #1 guy.

Rocky III is easily a 10/10 for me, and I can watch this film over and over again. The story here is excellent, and the fight scenes are pretty brutal. Oh, and it's always fun to watch Thunderlips (Hulk Hogan) take on Rocky in that wild wrestling match/fight.

I love the rocky films, the specialist and expendables, Rambo films are up their aswel, so for me 2 pick at of all of them then it has to be between the last Rocky and the last Rambo. Really can't choose between these
