the fact that Romeo & Juliet is my favorite Shakespeare play and I'm a huge Shakespeare fan in general made this an easy choice for me. I remember the first time i saw it on TV I thought "Oh look a modern day adaptation of Romeo & Juliet maybe I should watch it." Well I did watch it and I loved it. It kept all the original Shakespeare Dialouge which I thought was good. All in all it was a very good movie and if you are a fan of DiCaprio and/or Shakespeare I highly recommend this movie.

I was about to sell my soul and go with the heavily overrated film Titanic, then I realized movies like The Departed and The Aviator outshined that movie. Leonardo Dicaprio is a great actor with a phenomenal range of acting ability. For his greatest film, I'm going with one of my favorite movies, the Steven Spielberg directed Catch Me If You Can. One of my favorite movies, Dicaprio plays the part of Fank Abagnale. A young man who discovers how to make a quick and easy buck by posing as everything from Air Line Pilots to Doctors, making millions along the way to being captured by Tom Hanks' character FBI Agent Carl Hanratty. It's a true cat and mouse game and one of the true reasons I enjoy Leonardo Dicaprio as an actor. Here, Frank Abagnale is potrayed very well by Leonardo and at times, I forget this is a movie. An all around great movie.

I have to choose The Departed. The acting is outstanding. Leonardo DiCaprio gives what is quite possibly the best performance of his career. Even the people who hate him admit he did a good job. It's turned some haters into fans and my brother who despises him even says he was great. Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson give their best performances since The Talented Mr. Ripley and As Good As It Gets. Mark Wahlberg almost steals the show with the best lines. Ray Winstone, Alec Baldwin, and Martin Sheen are good, too.

Definitely one of the best films of the 00's. And easily one of the best remakes of all time. It's intense, funny, exciting, suspenseful, superbly acted, violent, has great characters, and has one of the most shocking scenes I've ever seen. And there's not a boring moment in it's two and a half hour running time.

I'm gonna go the same route as Hamler and say Catch Me If You Can. I havent seen too many of Leo's movies such as The Departed, but this is still a great movie.

First off, I love the plot. It makes for a very interesting story and its heard to believe that it is actually based on a true story. The way that Frank keeps outwitting the FBI and is always one step ahead of them is entertaining for the entire movie. Another reason I love the movie is the development of Frank throughout the movie. He starts off as just a kid with some family issues, but as the movie goes he gets more paranoid. The scene where Carl finally catches him is my favorite one because he seems like a full on maniac at that point. Its a great movie from a great actor.

As much as I love The Departed, and I do...I am going to go for BLOOD DIAMOND.

I think its a great story, all the cast are fantastic and Leo pulls off a very convincing South African accent. All in all it is a fabulous film.

I love how initially all he cares about is getting hold of the diamond, and is using Solomon to get to it, but as the movie goes on he actually begins to care about Solomon and Leo puts on a phenomenal performance throughout. There is the side story of Solom desperately trying to find and save his son from being brainwashed into joining the militants, and Leo falling for Jennifer Connollys character, the news reporter. Good action, some really realistic scenes and fantastic acting from all.

I did not have particularly high hopes for the film as until this point I was never a Di Caprio fan, but he changed my opinion simply because of how good he was in this film. I have since checked out alot of his other work, and now really respect the guy as an actor.

I kicked myself (well, stood hard on my toe, bit of a puss like that) when I finished watching this film for having waited so long to do so.

Leo has pretty much become Scorsese's new De Niro and this film seemed to put him through the ringer the most. Afterwards I said to my friend, "I hope he gets to do a HAPPY role soon because he keeps getting tormented and/or dying in films."

Wasn't much of a fan of his at first, but he is a pretty good actor who deserves a bit of a chirpy role soon!

I'm surprised no one has said this but body of lies is my all time favorite dicaprio movie it was none stop action and he put on a powerhouse performance. I think the movie is very underrated and if Any of you guys have not seen it you should definitely check it out.

People can bash Leo for being a pretty boy, and anything else along that line, but, he's an outstanding actor. I look at his filmography, and I can't find a single performance I didn't enjoy. Some have obviously been better than others, but I don't believe he's turned in a bad performance. All solid films, as well... except for The Man in the Iron Mask. That stunk, but he wasn't bad.

This is a tough decision, but I'm going with The Departed. Leo's performance in this film was definitely overshadowed by what he did in Blood Diamond. I enjoyed his performance in Blood Diamond, but that character didn't contain half the depth of Billy Costigan in The Departed.

Leo stole this movie, for me at least. That may sound odd, seeing he's in nearly every scene, but he wasn't the guy getting most press heading into the release of this film. His character easily had the most emotional depth, and he did a great job conveying that. I think this is his most raw performance, the one that reminded me least of how big of a star he is.

I also dug him in This Boy's Life, The Basketball Diaries, and Marvin's Room -- three of his earlier films that most haven't seen.

It has to be Whats Eating Gilbert Grape. Not only does He play a mentally ******ed person (which he did really well, which speaks to his acting range). Plus theres also a lady who's so fat, that when she dies they have to burn the house down in order to cremate her. All in all five star movie.

It was either this or Gangs of New York, buts lets be honest, GONY was Daniel Day Lewis' film, he stole it with his performance.

Personally I loved Inception, even bought it on DVD. I think that Dicaprio did well as the tortured hero, if you will. If you take his actual love film performances, like say Titanic or Revolutionary Road, I think he did better in this then in either and hell even both of them. Most of his movies are good, if not all, maybe? Inception had a pretty good cast, and his name stuck out as the star of it. Did a fantastic job in it, and it's one of my favorite performances of his.

My favorite movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio is Inception. Honestly, I hated the guy for many years and even boycotted movies he was in. Shutter Island and Inception finally changed my thoughts on his acting skills. Inception is the better of the two, and also my favorite Leonardo DiCaprio film due to having an amazing storyline that truly made you think, resulting in it being one of my favorite films of all time. He did a great job in it.

I like shutter island movie of lenardo di capri a lot.In this movie he has done a brilliant acting.
