DA-DA Da Da Da Bah Da Da DADADA
Alright, I'm not going to be continuing the same league I was in for the last few years and I figured what better than do to a league with a bunch of people here on Wrestlezone?

We had a keeper league going for the last few years and I want to continue that here. Basically, there's more strategy involved when you draft. You have to keep five players at the end of the year. So, instead of drafting someone like Manny Ramirez early on, it might be a better idea to reach and grab someone like Adam Jones, for example.

Bah, sign up anyway. I think Becker and XFear are the only two real certainties to sign up and we're going to have a hard time filling the league.

I have no desire to participate, but I'm curious as to why someone wouldn't want Manny Ramirez.

The way the league is set up, it's a keeper league (where the league extends beyond this season), so with rumors about Manny possibly retiring at the end of the season, it's better to try to focus on getting and keeping somebody young early on. Of course, if you want to get Manny early on too, that's fine, it's just someone to look at more of on a short term basis.

If you strategize correctly, you could wind up having all five of your players you hold on to be first-second round picks by the third year or so.

I'll sign up. I'm usually terrible at fantasy baseball, but I will keep active. Did my first keeper league this year in football, so I figure it is pretty much the same with baseball.

I would sign up if I had a page of the rules and what to do and whatnot.

It's not too hard. Basically, you just manage a team as if you're an actual general manager. You draft players, set lineups everyday for when your players play, and release/sign free agents. You go head to head with your opponents and you try to win as many categories as possible.
