First off, those words are two words Vince doesn't know the meaning of. ECW was not just about Extreme or Hardcore. It was about THE FANS. Heyman knew what we wanted because he listened to the fans. The wrestlers listened to the fans. When there was a good match we showed our appreciation and when there was a bad one, oh boy did we show our disapproval and they made it up to the fans. They kept the fans entertained. ECW had a bond with the fans that WCW could never duplicate and the WWE was starting to gain but has lost and will never gain back.
My only hope is that somebody will put the bullet in the head of this mockerey and abomination that Vince has had the gawl to actually dub as ECW. When this travesty dies, I'll be happy to call it nothing short of a mercy killing. This thing is a disgrace to the memory of guys who fought in it and are sadly no longer around. Guys like the Public Enemy, Pitbull #2, Hotstuff Eddie Gilbert, Bam Bam Bigelow, Chris Candido, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, Eddie Guerrero, Big Dick Dudley, etc. All this was is a lame, bland, boring, excruciating to watch third extension of the same bland, lame, boring, tasteless, painful to watch wrestling product. I watched the WWE/WWF since I was five. I grew up watching it. And to see what Vince has turned it into, Not only would I not brake if I saw him crossing the street, but you can bet your ass that should the day come where he passes on, I'll be standing in line to dance on his grave.
