Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Supermod!
WWE.com has stated that today is ECW's fan appreciation night, another Trump money bucket? Any ideas

Yes, here's my idea (and I think it's a good one)- shut it down and let the real ECW fans save some of their pride instead of forcing us to swallow

If it were truly fan appreciation night, Vince would come out and say I just don't get ECW. But he does know how much we the fans not only get it but love it. And so he has reach a contractual agreement with the new GM of ECW to not get involved with the product for up to six months, as long as ECW makes progress(ie. ratings, ppv buyrates). He then introduces us to the new GM....Paul Heyman.

Then to show us the fans this is real...Vince lets Paul verbally abuse him and the WWE. That would freakin rock!!

But alas, it will... neveeeeeer........................eveeeeer.............................happen for ECW again!

It will be a big ball of suck. Nothing that Mcmahon says or does tonight will help improve that show on Tuesday nights.

well maby it will be some sort of Extreme night where every match is under extreme rules although i doubt it.

The only way "fan appreciation day" would ever be worth the hype on this show is if Heyman bought back ECW and ran it again. Otherwise, WSX looks like a safer bet. At least with that I don't know how bad I'd get screwed by watching it seeing as I've never sat in on an episode.

atleast they didnt have the usuall squashing of origional ecw stars, now if there was sabu putting people though tables and sandman caning people in every episode, it might be a little better

Yeah but having Stryker beat CM Punk(after he needed help from Kelly Kelly a few wks back to beat Stryker), and Hardcore Holly beating RVD won't make ECW any better.

You could tell Vince was really speaking his mind about ECW. He doesn't like it, never did. He only brought it back in the first place to make money right away, and when that didn't happen he fiddled with it. He fiddled to the point where fans are saying put ECW down are ready. Let it RIP.

P.S. Did they really expect any of us to buy into the whole Taker challenging Lashley for the ECW Title at WM23 bit. All it says is that they don't know what their going to do at Mania yet and that's all.

For next Christmas all I'm asking Santa for is a free and uncontested kick to Vince McMahon's dick. Right square in the middle. Hard enough so he pukes for doing this to ECW. While I'm doing it, I'd also like New Jack's music to be played and then Paul E. can stand by and laugh. Vince McMahon and "fan appreciation" is the biggest oxymoron this side of Batista and talent.

First off, those words are two words Vince doesn't know the meaning of. ECW was not just about Extreme or Hardcore. It was about THE FANS. Heyman knew what we wanted because he listened to the fans. The wrestlers listened to the fans. When there was a good match we showed our appreciation and when there was a bad one, oh boy did we show our disapproval and they made it up to the fans. They kept the fans entertained. ECW had a bond with the fans that WCW could never duplicate and the WWE was starting to gain but has lost and will never gain back.

My only hope is that somebody will put the bullet in the head of this mockerey and abomination that Vince has had the gawl to actually dub as ECW. When this travesty dies, I'll be happy to call it nothing short of a mercy killing. This thing is a disgrace to the memory of guys who fought in it and are sadly no longer around. Guys like the Public Enemy, Pitbull #2, Hotstuff Eddie Gilbert, Bam Bam Bigelow, Chris Candido, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, Eddie Guerrero, Big Dick Dudley, etc. All this was is a lame, bland, boring, excruciating to watch third extension of the same bland, lame, boring, tasteless, painful to watch wrestling product. I watched the WWE/WWF since I was five. I grew up watching it. And to see what Vince has turned it into, Not only would I not brake if I saw him crossing the street, but you can bet your ass that should the day come where he passes on, I'll be standing in line to dance on his grave.
