Ever Got A Wrestler To React To You?

Skairipa Matrix

3 Time Elite Openweight Champion
Simple question, Thought it might be something fun to discuss.

Have any of you ever been to a wrestling show and got one of the wrestlers to react to something you did or said to them? I did once a few months ago I went to a indy show called Big Time Wrestling that came around here (mainly because I wanted to meet Raven which I did) and the main event was Raven vs Shane Douglas in a street fight for the belt, A tag team ran out and cost Raven the match so as they walked up the ramp (after the show) I was flipping them off and yelling different things at them which got a reaction out of 1 of them who got in my face flipping me off back and told me to f-off to which I responded with the same to him and for me that was pretty cool.

Anybody got any stories? Come on lets hear them.

Not me personally but my friend got Kevin Nash riled up on Twitter

He's very hostile towards a lot of people it seems

Devon took my beer at Hard Justice 2008 to smash on Christian Cage's head when they went through the crowd. He took it, took a swig, and then smashed it over Christian's head. So awesome.

I even briefly made it on the broadcast, but it was a quick cut-away shot because they had the main focus on the camera man following them up the steps.

When I was 14, I was invited to a private pool club in White Plains NY, where Arnold Skaaland was a member. He was standing by the pool when I jumped in, accidentally splashing him. He told me to make sure I didn't do that again and to get my "skinny ass" away from him.

I guess that counts as making a wrestler react, huh? At any rate, Wikipedia listed Skaaland as 6'0 and 240 pounds. They had the weight pretty much correct, but if he was 6 feet tall, I'm the Great Khali. He was 5'8, tops.

All good stories must say IDR's was the best plus you know he made it on camera which is awesome...Not me personally but 1 of my friends has been blocked on twitter by Beth Pheniox after calling her a ugly bitch who nobody likes and Beth responded with "They may not like me but they all respect me" before blocking her. I found that funny.

A random girl on Twitter asked MVP if he and Shad were related 'cause she read it somewhere and wanted to know if it was true. He tweeted back "BLOCKED!" and, well, blocked the bitch. She said she didn't care, but she bragged about it, sooo.... But yeah, he could've not been a dick about it and said it was false since she did state it was a rumor.

I have no stories to share. I'm just a calm fan cheering for my favorites, rudo o tecnico.

That lies indyjon, Conway was NEVER over on his own. Not even with that narcissist gimmick and that awesome theme.

To be fair, the reason we cheered for was because of the theme. But, it was still cool of him to point at us on live TV. We also tried to get one of the Heartthrobs head bands, but the photographer closest refused to hand it to us. Needless to say we heckled him the rest of the night.

Fun fact, at the same show some drunk ass spit on Trevor Murdoch during a tag team street fight and was escorted out. Murdoch one my respect for not punching the guy out.

Can anyone remember that hilariously bullshit thread about a guy who was at a RAW show and supposedly interacted with a few wrestlers/refs/bookers who told him 'inside' info? I think it was from last year but can't track it down.

Yes! I remember that I was sitting there reading it thinking wow I wanna live in this guys world that he lives in his own head.

Bret Hart shook my hand and spoke to me for a couple minutes. Met Nigel McGuinness in a hotel bar in England after an ROH show, spoke to him for about fifteen minutes about wrestling and football, I was like eleven or twelve at the time. Met Mick Foley, Prince Devitt and Steve Corino, all cool to talk to, not had any bad interactions with anybody other than Scott Steiner, who was ignoring everyone.

Through Twitter I've spoken to a lot of wrestlers, but it's not that difficult, most seem to enjoy a discussion if you're respectable and know how to use proper English.

i got pushed by sting when i was 11 when i tried to steal his bat. he just came down from the rafters and my older brother pushed me into sting and told me to take his bat then sting pushed me right back to my older brother lol

At the same indy show my story came from there was a autograph signing for the former WWE stars that were there (Shane Douglas,Raven,Carlito,Bobby Lashley,The Nasty Boys and Bret Hart) and nobody was even going over to Raven's table so I went over, got his autograph and chatted with him for a few minutes about wrestling he was pretty cool, I must say though Jerry Saggs seemed like a total douchebag who didn't wanna be there Knobbs was hilarious.

Just when me and my drunk friend kept hassling Lesnar to give us a high 5 at a house show in '03. He just ended up smiling at us, laughed a bit and gave us a high 5.

There's a lesson in this, persistence pays off.

I was at TNA live event with my brother, this was when the Hardys were heel and Beer Money were the Tag champs. So any way the main even was the Hardys vs Beer Money for the titles and the match was back and forth until Jeff missed a swanton bomb(like always) and Beer Money won. While, Beer Money was basking in cheers from the crowd my brother stood up and gave Beer Money a huge middle finger. Roode saw this and turned to Storm and said like, hey look at that guy. Storm looked at my brother and mouthed something along the lines of why did you do that and what did we do? I was just LMAO and shouting "dude you flipped off Beer Money!"Ah, memories.

Oh, and at another TNA live event Mick Foley was there and we just got autographs from him and I had a short chat about his biographies and my brother talked to him as well. So a bit into the show we checked out the merch stand and bought a brown bag special(epic deal btw) and Mick walked by. So then my bro shout out "hey mick!" and waves and Mick turns right around and says, "hey buddy!" and waves back. It was really cool meeting Mick.

And before that at my first TNA live event I was in line to get the beutiful peoples autograph (It was the Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky, and Lacey Von Erich trio) and Don West is standing right next to me getting everyone together and so I say "Hey Don can I get an autograph?" and he said "sure bud!" and then I thank him and think about how awesome TNA live events are and how much better they are than WWE shows. Yeah, so TNA shows are a great deal and you can actually meet wrestlers so thats why I go every time there in town.

At a WWF house show back in the early 90s. It was one of the 2 times in my life that I had ringside seats. Skinner had just lost his match and was walking back up the ramp. I was shouting stuff at him (nothing out of the ordinary) and he suddenly locked eyes with me. I was a kid at the time; smartened up enough to know wrestling was fake, but still naive enough to be scared of him. Anyway, he just stared at me for a few seconds and then said "NICE BRACES!" and walked away. It was quite a thrill. Even though he didn't exactly set the world on fire in WWF, I'll always remember Skinner for that.

Another time at a TNA live event last year I was in line to get an autograph from Mickie James(I was with my bro). We got her autograph the year before, but we were in line anyway. So we finally got to her(we were the last few people). We had been waiting awhile because everyone wanted to see her, so we asked for a picture with her. She thought about it and agreed, so we were both excited. I was first up and she let us put our arms around her so I felt a bit awkward, but on the inside I was like AWESOME! My bro took the picture and then he went up. I was a little bit shaky(I'm bad with famous people) so his picture was blurred a little since it was a phone, which my bro still busts my balls about it today. We thanked her and went to our seats and watched the rest of the show. P.S. her skin was really soft
