*The scene opens in the parking lot of the arena that is hosting Meltdown this Monday. A black Camaro has pulled into a parking spot a moment ago. After a few seconds, the driver side door opens and out steps WZCW superstar and the next WZCW World Champ Everest. He reaches behind his seat and grabs his duffel bag, slings it over his right shoulder and heads for the door.
The camera switches to the inside of the arena where see a rather long hallway and from around the corner at the other end of the hallway we see Everest turn the corner and heads toward the camera. After a few steps, backstage reporter Becky Sierra comes striding up the hallway and stops Everest.*
BECKY: Excuse me; excuse me, Everest can I get a word with you. What do you...?
EVEREST: (Interrupting Becky and holding up his hand) Whoa there sweetheart, hold on just one minute. What is this? No Hey Everest, how you been? No, hey Everest, whats going on, youre look good tonight, are you single yet?
BECKY: (Looking slightly confused) Ah yeah, alright, Hello Everest, How are you Doing?
EVEREST: I've been better Becky, but its cool, its not your problem
.so what were you saying earlier?
BECKY: Oh, right, I wanted to get your opinion on your match up at Meltdown.
EVEREST: Well Becky, Id be happy to talk to you about my match at Meltdown, but quite honestly, I havent seen a match up list yet, but let me guess, Everest v. Joseph Rios, Main Event, World Title on the line, right.
BECKY: Not exactly.
EVEREST: Alright, yeah I get it, save it for the big money show, Civil Revolution. Yeah I can only imagine what Everests first WZCW World Title victory will do to the buy rate.
(After taking a second to ponder) Back to Meltdown though, Must be Everest v. that Middle East loving Geritol popping punk Mohammad Hasheem; I cant wait to put that venom sprouting sorry excuse for an athlete to rest for good.
BECKY: Uh, again Everest, not exactly.
EVEREST: (Looking a bit perplexed and upset now) well alright then smart ass, since you seem to know everything, just who is going to have the honor of facing Everest at the next Meltdown.
BECKY: Well Everest, at Meltdown, youre going to go one on one with TITUS.
*Everest loses every shred of humor he had, his stare goes cold and his words become cold and calculated, anger creeps into his voice*
EVEREST: Hmmm, is that so Becky, well I was wondering how long it would take to get my shot at that Hollywood want to be. Honestly I figured the coward wouldnt think of stepping into the ring with me. You see Becky, the last time I seen Titus, he was standing over me, and gloating about the Tit drop he just delivered. It was a cheap shot, one I didnt see coming. You know Becky, the part that really bothers me isnt the fact I stood beside the man when he needed help, it doesnt bother me that I backed him when his family was threatened. Hell Beck, it doesnt even bother me that he seems to have sided with Rios and any other worthless piece of garbage thats willing to buy into his crap.
Nah, you know what really bothers me Becky?
BECKY: No Everest, what?
EVEREST: Well Becky my biggest problem with the whole situation is that it was a SMART move on Titus part, and a move I should have seen coming.
BECKY: Im confused?
EVEREST: Well Becky think about it, Titus was always going to be in my shadow, the shadow of the Pinnacle of Perfection. I called his lame duck, actor want to be ass when it mattered. I watched his back when no one else gave a damn about him. Problem is, while I did all this, I moved up the ladder, took out people like Arch Angel, Downward Spiral, and Mohammad Hasheem and even getting the pin fall victory over our Beloved champ Joseph Rios. What was Titus doing the whole time; well he was realizing the inevitable. He realized that Everest was his superior, his leader; he realized that I am better. Come Meltdown, I WILL show my good pal Titus just what I can do. When all is said and done, Titus will still only be second best and then and only then I can return my focus to the one thing that I want, the WZCW World Championship.
BECKY: Well speaking of the WZCW World Championship, You didnt let me finish, Joseph Rios is going to be the Special Guest Referee for your Match with Titus.
EVEREST: *Spinning back around to look Becky in the eye* REALLY! Well well, it seems that the Champ has thrown some Championship weight around and gotten himself involved in my business once again. Bottom line Rios, if you get involved in my business come Meltdown, Ill lay you down right beside your buddy Titus, disqualification be damned.
Meltdown is a no win situation, I know that, Becky knows that, WZCW fans all over the world knows that, this hootchie slapping corner hopper over here holding the camera knows, everyone knows But that isnt going to stop me from finishing what Rios and Titus started. *Everest breaks into a little jingle* With a Rock Slide here and a Rock Slide there, Everywhere there will be a Rock Slide, *Everest finally pause before looking back at the camera* Titus, Rios and the rest of the WZCW better take notice because the time is coming when you will all know that

*With that Everest nods at Becky, grabs his bag and disappears around the corner as the scene fades to black*
