Epico Appreciation Thread

Magic Mark

Former WCW TV Champion
Now that I can finally post threads on here, I am going to do an "Appreciation Thread" towards arguably the most decorated superstar of the modern era. Epico.

Admit it, you like Epico. I don't know why I have been liking him a lot recently, but lets face it, The guy is really good in the ring, AMAZING mic skills (lol) and has the down right coolest ring gear evar!!!!

So, what do you think of Epico?

I completely agree. Once he finally breaks away from Primo, I feel he can propel himself to legendary status with the right push. Maybe have him win the MITB. I feel he is a certified future hall of famer without a shadow of a doubt. Im worried that the WWE will hold back on Epico because he is such an IWC darling. But we'll see...

Well he certainly has the look, the in-ring prowess, and the solid gimmick. The sky's the limit for this man. I'm not really sure why so much effort has been wasted on guys like CM Punk and Sheamus when the time and money could have been used to market Epico.

Maybe if we keep bitching on here, WWE will finally get the hint.

Interesting... I really don't know what to make of any of this. He certainly shouldn't win the MITB this year! He's got talent in the ring and is entertaining, but I don't think I've heard him properly on the mic and if I have it certainly wasn't a talking point. But to be honest I think instead of him being pushed as a singles competitor him and Primo should be pushed as a face team, as I think they make a decent tag team. There's got to be some sarcasm in this thread...

Epico is that once in a lifetime superstar similar to the likes of The Rock and Stone Cold. He has that certain "It" factor that draws you to him and gets you really invested in his character. His charisma is nearly unmatched and I think it's time he breaks away from Primo and Rosa and fulfills his destiny as a top superstar. It's an outrage the way he's been booked thus far in his career! In the next six months, Epico should quite honestly be the one to unify both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships. Screw Undertaker vs. John Cena or Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar at next year's Wrestlemania! The match millions of fans all over the world have been dying to see for the last 1 1/2 years is Undertaker vs. Epico with Epico being the one to end the streak. I can picture it now. Epico cleanly pins Undertaker after his finisher-the.....what the hell is his finisher again?! Ah whatever, he cleanly pins Undertaker after a clothesline.

It's only a matter of time before Epico takes his place in the HOF with other guaranteed HOFers such as Braden Walker, KC James, Muffy, Just Joe, The Gymini and Eric Escobar.

Yes, I did this whole thing out of sarcasm. Nobody on here ever talks about Epico so I just decided to do it myself :)

yea he will win the WWE time 25 times to beat cenas eventual record of 20 when he gets the right push and so will Heath Slater LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I agree 100%. When I first saw the epic tandem of Primo and Epico I just knew that Primo would be the Janetty of the group. Epico just has that "it" factor that I haven't seen since Savio Vega. Epico needs to find the nearest Barbershop window and get Primo through that thing as fast as possible. It is only then that we will truly see what the man named Epico can do.

He actually won the Tag titles on a house show for his team. That's how good he is. Pity he wasn't in Hell No with Kane. He would've been CabraCara!

They should partner him up with Hunico and Camacho (again, future HOF's gone missing) and create a latino Shield. They will ultimately go over and pushed onto the main event, eventually facing Undertaker at WM and breaking the streak....

I'm on the fence about Epico. I haven't decided on whether his legacy will rival that of the Rock and Stone Cold or maybe just that of a minor major star like Randy Orton or Edge. It's too early in his career to tell.
In any case his ring presence is reminiscent of the Undertaker or Batista in his prime. His style is unique with hints of the late great Eddie Guerrero. This may be a rare case where a star gets inducted into the Hall of Fame long before his retirement.

I can picture him unifying the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships by defeating both John Cena and Alberto Del Rio (Or whomever is champion) in the same night. For the next decade, we'll be hearing about how the great Epico beat two of the biggest stars of this generation! Eat your heart out, Chris Jericho.
