entrance songs

Nate DaMac

Fuck erbody but me
im certain this has been posted already, but i didn't see it nowhere. i'm wondering what everyones favorite and least favorite entrance song is. my favorite is jeff hardy's current theme song. i like melodic rock music. least favorite however, jeff hardy in tna. i'm sorry jeff, im a fan of you in the ring. but you suck anus at music. your thoughts?

I'd say Rob Van Dam's from old ECW which was Pantera's "Walk." Hearing the opening chords out of nowhere during a match and you knew the shit was on with the whole f'n show.

I always hated Big Show's, it sounded like what Diesel's theme music would sound like with words.

And y'all gonna hate me for it but I still like HHH's music. It totally fitted him when he first used it. Now it doesn't seem as effective, but when he was a full blown heel and I heard Lemmy growl, "Time to play the game." I was like "Oh shit, here we go."

My favorite entrance is song is Lashley's wioth words it just pumped me up my second is Mr. Kennedy's because it has nice lyrics instrumentals and describes him perfectly.
my least fav is sd opening it just doesn't fit i like but not as a wrestling song.
my second is michelle mccool's i don't why i just don't like it.

D'lo Brown's "Danger at the Door" - Not even the whole song, just the beginning 10 seconds or so. I find it hysterical

Mark Henry's "Sexual Chocolate" - Same with D'lo. The "Heeeeey" is great. Laugh my ass off every time I hear it

Chuck & Billy - Fucking classic. Rico butchered it when he went solo, and they added that crappy guitar to it, but now the original is finally back in circulation!!

Teddy Long - Just because, one time, my friend did the Teddy Long dance while the song was playing.

Gangrel - It fit in so well with his character and entrance.

Oddities - I normally don't like ICP, but that was a good tune.

Here are a list of my favorite theme songs over time:

Hogan Era

Hulk Hogan "Real American"
Jake The Snake Roberts
Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase
Demolition
Fabulous Rougeau Brothers
Mr. Perfect
Repo Man

Attitude Era

Triple H- "Higher Brain Pattern" (this is the instrumental version of "My Time")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xyh6-pSHC4A

Gangrel
Edge (first theme)
Christian- "Close Your Eyes"
Christian- "At Last, You're on Your Own"
Nation of Domination
Shane McMahon "Here Comes the Money"
Big Show's Very 1st Theme- "Be My Valentine" (same theme as St. Valentine's Day Massacre ... far superior than the crap he has today
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwQSoa8N0MA

Mark Henry- "Sexual Chocolate"
Edge- "Never gonna stop me"
The Oddities
New Midnight Express

Post Attitude and PG Eras

Randy Orton- "Voices"
John Cena- "Word Life"
Edge- "Metalingus"
Evolution- "Line in the Sand"
Paul Heyman- "This is Extreme"
Rob Van Dam- "One of a Kind"
MVP- "I'm Coming!"
Brian Kendrick- "Man with a Plan"

TNA

AJ Styles- "I Am" (first version. current one sucks)

Randy Orton - Voices

Not only is this a great theme song that goes well with Orton's character, it's actually a pretty good song in general. Rev Theroy have done a really good job.

Kofi Kingston - SOS

I love it cause it suits Kofi perfectly. It's not too serious and displays the excited emotions that Kofi demonstrates when he makes his way down the ramp. Just easy listening that I can't help but sing along too.

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin - Glass Shatters by Disturbed

It was a nice change when this was introduced and the more intense atmosphere to the song suited Austin's character at the time. Plus it's a pretty bad-ass piece of music.

Kurt Angle - ECW

It's just an awesome remix of what became a pretty bland theme song. It was a welcome shake-up.

I currently think that Rev theory's "I hear voices" is one of the best entrance songs in use. This si of course tied to Randy Orton and I think that this song sums up what Orton's character and angles are all about at the moment. My old favourite song btw was Christians before he left WWE, that was a great entrance Song. CHRISTIAN!

My least favourite song is probably... Jeff Hardy's at the moment. Just to clarify though it's only because I really enjoyed the old Hardy boys song and I am well aware that this one is quite the same but I don't think they should have changed it. Just my thoughts though.

I don't know why but me fave has to be Jay Lethal's. I'm sorry to anyone who hates me for it but I just...like it.

My least fave has to be...John Cena's...OMG Get a new theme god damn it!

Oh, and I'm tired of Jericho's theme

My Favorites:

Randy Orton's- Voices(performed by Rev Theory)- This song fits Orton's character & it's a really good song in general. Rev Theory did a fantastic job with this song as it is one of the few good entrance songs that I like.

Edge'- Metallingus(performed by Alterbridge)- I'm actually listening to the actual version of this song & quite honestly I like both versions of the song. I think Edge did a good job in going with this song as his entrance theme.

Least Favorites:

John Cena- My Time Is Now(performed by himself & Tha Trademarc)- I hate this song & I hate Cena. Everytime this song plays on the TV. I change the channel just so I ain't gotta watch him.

Triple H- Time To Play The Game(performed by Motorhead)- I don't hate the actual song as I think Motorhead performed the lyrics of this song to perfection, I just hate Triple H. Everytime I hear this song, it reminds me of how stale, boring & sucky Triple H really is.

Chavo Guerrero - Chavito Ardiente:

Ted DiBiases - Priceless(first one, not this new shit he's using).

John Morrison - Ain't No Make Believe

All of these song's really work well with the gimmicks all of them have and solidify them during their entrances.

My least fav...matt hardy..ya it was ok when he was a face but he needs something new
here comes a new heel that is suppose to get a push and he comes out to oooooooooooyaaaaa..what the hell
this song fits him just like a hore sitn in church

My fav entrance song of all time is Enter The Sandman for.......you guessed it.......THE SANDMAN!!!! If you've ever been in attendance when it hits, it would be your favorite too....great crowd interaction.

My least favorite?? John Cena's......just because its so old.....and I hate him.....

Well, my favorites would have to be Kung Fu Naki (No really), Dude Love (Still really), Austin's song, AT LAST and Just Close Your Eyes (Both used by Christian), and Isaac Yankem (Because it's hilarious in a creepy way). I also love Triple H's song, just because you know some shit is gonna go down when you hear that opening chord.

My top favorite is easily Hogan's "Real American". I love the song.

Recently, I 've had American Dream and A Real Man's Man stuck in my head.

"He's a maaaaaan. Such a maaaaaaaaan~"

So many songs to list, where to start.

I have to say that one that I absolutely loved that hasn't been mentioned was Steve Blackman's. The one with nothing but the beat. I don't know why, but I just absolutely loved that song. It just has a beat that got my blood pumping.

I also have to admit that I always loved a lot of the songs that Johnston put together. The third disc in the Anthologies to me was a great disc. I loved a lot of the songs on their. I was especially fond of Bischoff's "I'm Back" and Undertakers "You're Gonna Pay." (I think those were both Johnston)

As far as least favorites, got to agree with Cena. I was also nevera big fan of Bam Bam Bigelow's in WWE.

My favorite of all-time is probally McMahon's "No Chance In Hell". I'm not a fan of Rap-Rock but there's just something about that song and seeing Vince strut his way down the aisle. Just hearing the first few seconds and seeing his Titontron video start up, makes it feel like something intense is about to happen.

But a close second would be Stone Cold's "Glass Shatters" theme by Disturbed. That's just an awesome song on it's own.

I really loved RVD's old ECW theme, "Walk" by Pantera. Just the opening Dimebag riff alone and you knew the shit was on. I remember towards the end when Rhino was in the ring and causing havoc for the "Network" and he heard the opening riff and he would make the best "Ah fuck!" look, it was priceless.

I was also fond of Legion of Doom's theme. That was another song where the opening "Whaaaaat a russsshh!!" hit the speakers and you knew they were coming to raise hell.

I also liked Bret Hart's older theme with the screaming guitar in the beginning . . . . apparently I'm a fan of themes with opening chords or phrases, haha.

Favorite of all time:Road Warriors(NWA)-Ironman Close seconds:Benoit-don't know the name Least favorite:Cena-hate that guy

well favorites are Austin and Kane those songs just fit there character so well and they were going to get your attention no matter what. least favorite HBK his is just to childish now days he needs a update. its not a bad song just need a newer version to it.

I really like Doink's heel music. It's not something I'd have on an IPod, but I feel it reflected his character perfectly. And on an almost completely unrelated note, does anyone else think Chavo's song sounds like a trumpet version of the pokemon game's fight music?

i like so many but If i had to pick 1 it would be this one for a few reasons.

I love this kind of music

CM punk has been one of my favorite wrestlers ever since he was in TNA

When ever this music hits I know I'll get a good match or Promo from CM Punk

I get pumped when ever i hear this song even when I'm not watching wrestling.

Also when I hear this I'm reminded of this moment and i still mark out a little bit

Not much more other than this song just plain rocks

Some of mine:

WCW:

The Four Horsemen: Whether it be the 7th version or the 8th version (the one thing the horse whinnieing in the beginning, it is perhaps the greatest entrance theme of all time, certainly one of the best. It makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up when that opening rift hits.

DDP: Yeah, it's a rip off of Smells Like Teen Spirit, but it's still great.

Booker T/Harlem Heat: Extremely catchy, great beat, and I like all the funny noises and weird laughing in it. lol

Alex Wright: You can't help but dance any time you hear it, just not the Alex Wright dance. LOL

Vampiro/Billy Kidman: Love the drums and guitars in it. I didn't the song fit Vampiro well. It wasn't gothy or anything, but still an excellent theme nonetheless.

Bret Hart: I don't remember his first two themes, but his third theme I found on YouTube is GREAT. If I had to pick a theme of his that ranks up there with his WWE one, this is it.

Oldschool WWF:

Jake the Snake Roberts: Both his face and heel themes are GREAT. His face theme is better, both fit him perfectly.

Hulk Hogan: Like I need to say why? :D

Bret Hart: Right up there with Jake the Snake as perhaps the greatest WWF theme ever.

Demolition: THE DEMOS WILL GET YOU!! 'nuff said.

Orient Express/Bull Nakano: I think almost every Japanese wrestler used this as their theme at some point. lol But it's still a great theme, albeit very repetitive.

Goldust: In the 90's he was one of the best superstars IMO, he had a great rivalry with Razor Ramon. But anyway, I thought his theme was great.
