Enough is enough, it's time for a change!!

See what I did there ?? Lol anyways..

With the amount of talent in NXT ready for a main roster push, the wwe is gonna get top heavy real fast. Like Hideo Itami, Kevin Owens, Fin Balor, Sami Zayne, Adrian Nevielle, Tyler Breeze, mojo Rawly, maybe even Blake and Murphy.......But with the crowdness coming soon, who do you think needs to step down and retire, or be cut???

I think the Undertaker (as bad as a hate it) should be done.
I no one will agree but a transition should be made for Kane, Big Show, and Mark Henry should be ready to start looking down retirement road. I know they all can still put on good matches but they have been at it for 10+ years in a hard sport. Without taking big breaks.. I've got more admiration for Kane than I do anyone on the roster. He debuted in 97 I think? That's 18 years of hard contact sport and injury. He's held world titles, tag titles, hardcore titles. He's played heels, face, monsters, and corporate sell out. He's got a full résumé.NAND should step out with class.

Anyone else??

Kane and Big Show definitely. I'd like to see Cena finally start to wind down (wishful thinking I know) and no more lame Jericho jobber comebacks.

I still think Orton has something to give though.

Cena still has some more time on the upper card. As soon as he stops getting mixed reactions and gets zero reaction (or close to it) we finally get the Cena heel turn. I think that's another two years away tho.

Kane and Big show are the big ones for me. I haven't had any interest whatsoever in what either of them have done in years. Kane was good in Team Hell NO but that's the only thing he's done that has interested me in forever. Show is even worse. I haven't cared for him since the attitude era.

I'm a huge Jericho fan, but if he comes back jobbing to run off again I can't bring myself to watch that. He's too much of a global icon to go down in flames. But in one of his dvd's I have he personally said he didn't want the big farewell send off. His final appearance he said he wanted to be carried kicking and screaming by officials..lol..

A couple years ago when big show was off tv for 6 months or so, man I wanted a heel turn and come back as the monster giant. Run rampage over the whole company. Hold the title and be what he used to be. But they just screwed it up. He got washed out.

I gave up on Kane after he lost his demon side back when he had that awesome theme song (with the lyrics)..

I agree with ya, I think in 2-3 years we could see super Cena winding down. I'd love to see him go out a heel but he won't..

I think Orton is in the best shape of his career and he is still thriving..

Triple is in great shape but he needs to get this sting deal out of the way and end this ridiculous authority angle and step down..

I'm a brock lesnar guy. But he clearly doesn't want to be in the wwe. He's waiting to see how much dough UFC coughs up. Wwe just needs to let him..I don't wanna see it but he's too much of a headache.

Wwe has a slew of young talent ready to go and step up. They have great trainers that keep teaching..

He is my list 1.Big Show needs to retire 2.Zack Ryder needs to be released I like him but nothing for him here anymore 3.Heath Slayer needs to be released 4.Kane needs to retire but at WM32

Why do you think though all those NXT guys would go straight to the "top"? The Ascension may have worked in NXT but have fallen flat on the main roster. They look flabby, too much like the road warriors mixed with the ministry of darkness and they're boring. Bo Dallas who was an NXT champ moved up and was a joke.

I think some of those guys mentioned just don't have it for the main roster yet while others would bring credibility to the US and IC titles like you're seeing right now with main roster folks.

As far as people that should go? Big Show and Kane and Henry for sure. Kane is looking so much worse these days because of his character. He looks slower and just not intimidating whatsoever. Big show is just getting fatter and making those knees seem weak and Henry has no personality.

And Randy Orton you have to remember started SO young on main roster. The dude is only like 33. Crazy! He's got great days still ahead.

Kane, Big Show, Mark Henry - the vets who's good years are sure behind them, they constantly get some lame stories going for them, but they never have any real progress, cause the crowd will not welcome them as main eventers/champs anymore (well, maybe Henry 1 more time), and they are too big (of a starpower/recognition/history) to fight for minor titles, so they basically stuck in uppermidcard/jobbers for maineventers role without any direction, they are also too old to wrestle on the young guns level.

The New Day, Prime Time Players, Ascension, Adam Rose, Torreadors - the guys who can't click enough with the crowd no matter what, midcard 4 life at very best, so why keep them.

Goldust - while Goldust still in WWE, Cody will barely have an opportunity to come out from Rhodes' family shadow and become his own act.

Sheamus - does anyone really missed him? I think no.

Undertaker - it's time. His undefeated gimmick is finally over, he can't do this anymore at all, he is done. I prefer an image of strong kicking a** Taker over "can collapse any time" grandpa.

Not everybody is bound to be a main eventer bro. Enhancement talent is always needed. Some of them didn't connect with the crowd due to creativity issues. They gave them the wrong tools. So,I think some of them will get another chance or get repackaged etc.

To reply to the OP I'm gonna say this:
1)Have Taker lose to Wyatt at WM. Masked Kane returns as a face (which is bound to happen) and fights Wyatt in a losing effort at Summeslam, when he also retires.
2)Big Show is a question mark for me cause even though we are sick of his act, he's still very much over with the younger fanbase as a heel.
3)Have Mark Henry be the leader of the New Day as a dominant heel stable. Kofi/Woods as Tag champs, Big E as IC champ down the line and Mark Henry having one or two shots at the WHC. But have them involved in major storylines.
4)No more pointless Jericho-RVD returns.
5)End the Authority.
6)Give effort to your tag team division, REAL effort.
7)Even though I, as almost anyone, would love to see Cena turn, that probably won't happen, unless Reigns surpasses him in merch sales, which I don't see happening. He can be involved in other storylines tho, with some of the other mid card to top guys, that would be a nice change of pace.

...Hideo Itami, Kevin Owens, Fin Balor, Sami Zayne, Adrian Nevielle, Tyler Breeze, mojo Rawly, maybe even Blake and Murphy....

The key aspect of this topic are the names listed above....augmented, of course, by some of the fine women of NXT. On a forum in which we speculate where the stars of tomorrow will come from, it's terrific to realize they're in arms' reach already, getting ready to adopt new characteristics that take them up to the main roster.

If it's true that NXT is Triple H's project, I would say he's done more to assure the future success of WWE than Vince McMahon has done in many years.

So, the changes sought by the OP are coming. Honestly, I think Big Show, Kane and, to a lesser extent, Mark Henry, have some life left. They're made to look fearsome in order to make their present function more believable; to enhance young talent. I don't think we're going to be seeing any of them in title matches anymore, and I doubt they're unhappy with the present state of their careers.

You know what I wonder about more? Whether the 3 big guys are worried about being pushed off the roster by the young NXT whippersnappers. Maybe the old guys aren't ready to fold their tents yet and don't want their professional fates sealed by these kids. Ask pro athletes near the end of their careers in any pro sport what it feels like to be cut in favor of some young turk.

Cycle of life, I suppose.

In terms of who should be getting let go, there are more than a few who should be clearing the way. The Big Show and Kane are two of the main guys that everyone is thinking of. It's been a long time since they did anything of note and beating them doesn't even seem like a big deal anymore. Their time as a monster heel gas come and gone a long time ago. And since that's their main function on the WWE roster, they should be let go. It's that simple. They can't do their jobs, it's a no brainer.

Still, there is plenty of opportunity to let some people go and free up a bit of space on the roster. The first few names who comes to my mind are Los Matadores, Erick Rowan, the Prime Time Players, Curtis Axel, The Ascension, R-Truth and Goldust. And the only one of this I would miss is Goldust. And the only reason I would allow him to leave is because of his age. He can still do the business in the ring and has did a great job of elevating Cody...

All of those guys, regardless of how long they have been in the company, have failed to make it with the fans. And when you're in a business like the WWE, it's hard to turn that around. Don't get me wrong, it can be done. But none of these guys have what it takes to be worthwhile investments for one reason or another. And when you consider that they likes of Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville and Finn Balor are looking to move up, why is the WWE golding off on them to keep these undeserving talents on the main roster and on Raw most weeks? Clueless.

I agree with most of it, except letting the capt' Lou Albano clone beat the Undertaker. I dont want to see an old man 'Taker lose to Wyatt. Who has done nothing in the WWE. NOT at Wrestlemania. Any other PPV but not WM, its gonna be a horrible waste just like with Lesar. ( Who is gonna leave after ending the biggest legends streak ). If they gave them a feud and a year to develop it, and Wyatt was the first one to beat Undertaker, that would be kinda cool. But this is a sad excuse for a Wrestlemania Undertaker match.
