Elimination Chamber Predictions

If this thread already exists sorry, but I looked for it with no results besides the DX/Straightedge match.

Based off of what happened last night (who got a push/who eliminaed who/etc.), this is what I think should happen @ EC, as a set up for WM26.

I'm not doing the whole card, but feel free to add a match, or change mine.

Undisuted Tag Team Championship
Hart Dynasty w/ Bret Hart & Natalya vs. D-Generation X
* HBK eliminated HHH, so there will be heat. So, this will get the belts off them, so they can either face each other @ Mania, or HBK can fight UT while HHH fights for the WWE strap.
Winners: Hart Dynasty

Grudge Match
Edge vs. Chris Jericho
Winner: Edge

US Championship
The Miz vs. MVP
Winner: MVP

Grudge Match
Batista vs. John Cena

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton - All I know of the Rumble match is that it ended in a DQ, pretty lame when it's a big show and Sheamus is supposed to be the next big thing. I suspect we'll see a rematch and loss for Orton. I read that Legacy got involved in the last match, I suspect the same will happen again.

Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho - The outcome seems obvious to me with Edge and not HBK winning the Rumble. The other option is an Elimination Chamber for the title, either way Jericho wins.

Raw Elimination Chamber - Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Big Show etc, boring. Triple H wins. A Smackdown EC has much more potential.

The Miz vs. MVP

HBK will be in the SD Elimination Chamber match. He has to ensure that the Undertaker loses the belt ... and this is a way for him to do that.

I agree that Jericho will win the World Title to set up his feud with Edge.

In my opinion I think the PPV will go as follows...

Raw EC: HHH, HBK, Orton, Super Cena, Big Show, and Shamus (Winner Shamus)
Smackdown EC: Y2J, Batista, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, R Truth, and Undertaker (Winner is Y2J with HBK Screwing Undertaker out of the title)
MVP vs Miz (MVP finally wins the US Title)
Christian vs Regal (again) - Regal finally wins
DX will loose the titles before the PPV thus getting them into the EC.

Y2J wining the WHC in the EC will set up Edge vs Y2J at WM26.

HBK screwing Undertaker out of the title will set him up to get his rematch at WM26 with the Deadman.

If Christian does defend the ECW title and looses, then hopefully he will finally get the hell away from ECW and drafted to another brand this year during the draft. Raw could really use him in the title picture there.

Regardless of what happens anyhwere else at EC, I think it's safe to say that a ******ed goat with one eye and a limp can see Jericho is almost locked in the win the WHC and move on to face Edge at Mania. Kinda thinking Sheamus will go over in the Raw chamber, if that's the route they go. Still not convinced the WWE title will be a chamber match. I kinda think maybe in a #1 contender chamber match, Kofi will win and face Sheamus at Mania, leaving Edge to face Jericho, who will win the EC match. I also still think HBK will face HHH and Taker will face Cena with possibly Batista thrown in there at Mania.

Well, the only way I'd take the US Title off Miz is if he was going to win M.I.T.B. and he isn't going to, so forget that one.

As for the Chamber matches... well I'd maybe do a special attraction one which features Edge, Sheamus, Undertaker, Christian, Drew McIntyre and The Miz, kind of a champions and Royal Rumble winner showcase. Nothing on the line, just a fun match. It could create some fun foreshadowings with certain people pinning each other.

Then I'd do a second chamber match featuring six top contenders and the winner gets a shot at the other title at Wrestlemania. It's the only way to make the other contender look vaguely as strong as Edge who had to win the Rumble, much better than just naming a contender. Let's say it's Rey Mysterio, CM Punk and Batista from Smackdown, and Randy Orton, John Cena and Kofi Kingston from Raw. Winner faces whichever Edge doesn't. Edge could announce who he wants prior to, at or after the event and it wouldn't really affect the match.

Then I'd have DX defend the titles against Legacy or Hart Dynasty or even both plus Cryme Tyme in a four-way. I think most of us are under the impression they're facing off at Mania because of all the tension over the last few months, so the straps should come off them unless they vacate them, which would suck.

Rest of the card: who really cares?

Well since Edge won the Rumble, and technically he's SUPPOSED to main event WM, that means that someone has to go (probably from Raw). If the plan is to keep the title on Sheamus going into Mania, then I see HHH winning another ECM and going to Mainia to face Sheamus. I agree that Taker will retain his title and probably (PROBABLY) face Edge at Mania. This somewhat leaves ALL the bigger stars out of the loop. I won't predict the Feb. pay-per-view BUT there's a lot of questions still lingering and I'm very interested to see how Mania shapes up this month.

I think everything that happened last night seemed to make perfect plans leading into Wrestlemania, DX will break up, HBK will turn tweener, Edge will turn face, and I think the card will end up looking something like this...

Cody Rhodes (w/ Randy Orton) VS Ted Dibiase

WWE Championship EC: Sheamus VS MVP VS Cena VS Kingston VS Miz VS Big Show (Batista costs Cena the match)

#1 Contender's Match for any World Title: Triple H VS HBK (Shawn snaps)

World Championship EC: Undertaker VS Jericho VS Mysterio VS Punk VS Batista VS (HBK costs Taker the match after losing to Edge)

Then that sets up HBK VS Taker, Jericho VS Edge for the world title, Triple H VS Sheamus for the WWE title, Orton VS Dibiase, Punk VS Mysterio, and Cena VS Batista etc.
