Edge vs. Chris Jericho feud

This seems to be a running topic in most of the threads so let's just get it all out here.

Everybody agrees it's possible for Edge to face Chris Jericho. They have an open feud that really should be closed before either superstar moves on to another storyline, the question is, how long should it last, and how should it conclude?

There's a million options, here are just a few, and what I think about each. Note that I don't say who wins their final match, cuz I really don't know in any scenario.

Edge and Y2J feud into EC. Y2J goes on a rant about how he should've won the Rumble, Edge comes out to confront him, and it concludes with a #1 contenders match at EC for a spot in the main event at WM.
Kinda like that option.

Edge and Y2J feud into WM. Same as first option, only Edge doesnt accept the #1 contenders challenge. Y2J pulls a kind of HBK and says "If I can't go into WM as challenger, I'll go as champion." He wins the Title from 'Taker at EC and Y2J and Edge fight for the title in the main event at WM.
Horrible idea. Neither of them are popular enough to draw for a main event at WM.

Edge and Y2J feud into SummerSlam. The feud is put on pause until after WM, when Edge wins the title. Edge calls out Y2J the next night and says they have unfinished business, Y2J agrees, they fight for the title at backlash (or whatever they call it now) but it ends in a ND or DQ for one reason or another, and this continues through different stipulated matches until SummerFest...er-Slam, when a winner is finally declared.
I simply don't think the feud should last that long.

Ok, that's just a couple ideas that I've seen/thought of. So, should this feud continue at all? For how long? Who comes out on top? Will the title even be involved? Whatdya all think?

I think (HOPE) Jericho wins the World Title in the Elimination Chamber!!!

Edge then decides to use his Rumble win to challenge Jericho at 'Mania.

This has been slowly brewing since Edge got injured!!!

I think THIS MATCH SHOULD CLOSE WRESTLEMANIA!!!!!

What better way to close the show with Edge celebrating his new title win!!!

Jericho deserves to win the belt and walk into 'Mania as champ!

These two can "tear the house down"....AND THEY ARE BIG ENOUGH STARS TO HEADLINE MANIA!!!!!!

To me, if this match does not take place at Mania, then HBK vs 'Taker could close 'Mania!

Right now it's believed that the following matches will take place:
*Edge vs Jericho
*'Taker vs HBK
*Sheamus vs HHH
*Cena (with Bret Hart) vs Batista (with Vince McMahon)

You want to close the show with a title match and/or a good guy winning........................Edge vs Jericho fits the bill the best!!!!!!

Okay this is what should happen and what has already has happened

Edge gets injured

Jericho teams with the Big Show

While Edge is injured Jericho talks about how Edge was always the weakest of the team and stuff like that

Edge comes back and wins the 2010 Royal Rumble

Edge decides to wait until after the Elimantion Chamber to make his decision

Chris Jericho wins the Elimination and is the new world heavyweight

Edge decides to challenge him

Hopefully Edge will beat him at Wrestlemania because I am a big Edge fan

I think that it should end at Wrestlemania 26, why? Because it won't be that good of a storyline after WM Edge will already have faced Jericho and gotten his revenge. I expect this to be the best main event at Wrestlemania ever because this fued actually has a good storyline and heat behind it. So we all know that this match is going to happen because Vince and the creative peopl have been talking about it months before Edge even came back. This is just the way that I think it is going to happen.

Based on the idea that Taker/HBK will happen, I see a new champion at EC and if an Edge/Y2J feud is going to happen it means Y2J will win at EC. Edge will then challenge for the belt and likely win at Mania. I see it going on a little longer just so Y2J can have his rematch clause. The only way I think it will last longer than that is if Y2J gets a dirty win at Mania and WWE decides to build a longer story to it.

And to say that Edge/Y2J wouldnt be able to hold well as the Main Event, I disagree. The pop Edge got was impressive and if they continue to build him as face, which Ive heard is going to happen, and also continue to build this feud...I see it as a candidate for the top match at WM26.

As much as i would love to see it, i don't think it'll be at Mania. Reasoning for that is i just don't see Jericho getting the title before then, and it wouldn't make sense for Edge to not use his title shot. And unless Punk somehow gets the belt back before then, i dont see him challenging the champ on Smackdown but rather the WWE champion from Raw. There just seems to be some more options for him on that side, but then again Edge vs Sheamus doesnt seem like a Mania main event. A match with Orton could work, but then what becomes of the fued with Ted and or Cody.

This years going to be interesting for sure as far as who he chooses to face for the title. I could be wrong though and we could see Jericho take the belt from Taker at EC or after.

But I gaurentee they will fued at one point whether it be before or after Edge gets his title shot. If they do face off at WM 26 then i can see the fued going to Backlash easily and maybe even picking up again towards the end of the year.

edge vs y2j fued will be awesome at mania, and i think they could go the distance as the main event for mania, i would love for the match to be an iron man match. i think they are the only 2 right now that could do it since they are both well conditioned.

I do agree that WWE aren't likely to put Edge and Jericho in the main event at Mania. I certainly doubt they would put it on last anyway and that is what being in the main event is all about. They're both great wrestlers but it isn't the biggest drawing Mania event in the world.

I see Edge facing Triple H for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania to be honest, which means HHH will need to win the Chamber Match and I wouldn't have a problem with that at all with the main event. I don't know when they're gonna resolve the feud but like I already said, I think Jericho and Edge main eventing Mania is a bit of a stretch. I mean, it isn't impossible but I just think it is unlikely.

but HHH vs edge happened like in 2008 so its not fresh , y2j vs edge sounds so awsome couze they are both good wrestlers and if edge becomes face , y2j stays heel it will be perfect main event for wm26 im really looking forward to it

I think that Edge will probably face and beat Jericho at Elimination Chamber, and that'll be the end of it. They aren't enough between them to mainevent WrestleMania so we have to assume that they won't be facing off there anymore. It's a possibility that this will be picked up at a later date, but now that the Elimination Chamber is set in stone, they have to find a way to keep the Rumble winner on the card, but out of the chamber, and I think this is how they'll do it.
