ECW Got The Best Part Of The Draft..

Tonight ecw lost it's champion to raw when lashley got drafted and then stripped of the Ecw title.This is best thing that's happened to Ecw in quite a while. Let lashley go play Cena's shadow on raw.Raw is apparantly the little kids show anymore with their steel(black superman from the superman comics when superman 'died' ) and superman superheroes.

Christ Benoit (one of my all time fav wrestlers) got drafted to ecw.Back where he earned "the crippler' moniker. Back to where he can showcase his talent and go for the now vacant ecw title and actually give it some legitmacy.Benoit can feud with Punk,what's left of the new breed and finally break out of the smackdown midcard scene.

No more snitsky .I can't say i ever saw the point of snitsky even back in the day.
The boogeyman. bah i ll gladly put up with this idiotic gimmick just as long Benoit is on ecw now.

ecw did miss out a bit they only got 2 while the others got 5 i say chuck in a returning Rey Mysterio and possibly someone from TNA or 'classic' ECW... that black guy with the blades i forget his name!

In a way. Benoit is the best move of them all. But I'd rather ECW keep Snitzky than have The Boogeyman. Hopefully they will get some talented wrestlers like Kenny & Nitro on Wednesdays draft. But Lashley for Benoit is a no brainer.

they should have boogeyman team with thorn and feud with the majors for the ECW tag titles (if they ever debut them) and have benoit feud with punk or even cor von. i do think ECW go improved by the draft but they need more hopefully they will get some from the other draft.

I agree Benoit for Lashley was a good trade but I wish they had Lashley actually drop the strap as it is apparent that he could have had one more match just like Benoit was supposed to on Smackdown. And getting rid of Snitsky Im glad just means that Raws giys will have to put him over for awhile Say hello to the mat Eugene, Super Crazy, Val Venis and Santino.

But despite rumors ECW didnt get any addos. I mean I found it quite sad that ECW could have its ENTIRE roster appear while Smackdown and RAw left off good wrestlers. I was really hoping ECW would get a new influx in talent which I suppose could still happen with the Supplement as other than Kevin Thorn or a diva I cant see of anyone else that ECW could lose.

The person that i mpst wanted to move was Jeff Hardy. Sinc ethey say they want him as a singles star and Raw is overloaded I cant see any path better than Ecw and besides who wouldnt want to see fueds with Burke, Punk, Cor Von and Benoit. Others than would have been nice were Super Crazy, Nitro, Finlay or Cryme Tyme (and only if they are serious about a tag team divison)

I was very happy to see Benoit go somewhere where he can play the top star role. Now he needs a nice big established heel or at least a solid vet who is known (regal perhaps...would be nice technical matches) to feud with and that would be nice for ecw. You would have two true established main eventers(well one with a good solid vet)...one face, one heel, then you have a nice core of mid level with punk, cor von, burke, dreamer. I would love to see Regal or mark henry or even a a heel turn on kane.

I think they got the short end of the stick. They lost Lashley, got the Boogeyman of all people. I would have loved to maybe see Burchill go to ECW to be monster heel instead of the Boogeyman.

I think that ECW never really lost or gained much. Lashley was replace with Benoit and Snitsky was replaced with The Boogeyman. However, with the supplemental draft on Sunday, I think that Raw will unload on some talent because right now they are stacked since they got four guys who could be or are main eventers. I would like to see ECW get Umaga, Nitro and Jeff Hardy. These three aren't doing anything on Raw and could be top talents on ECW. Umaga could feud with Benoit, Nitro could feud with CM Punk, Hardy could feud with Elijah Burke or Cor Von. I also believe WGTT should go the ECW to make a tag division there and Super Crazy should go to ECW too since he's an Original and he can wrestle.

i think ecw did get some good dudes and get rid of one bad one *cough*Lashley*cough* but i think that Raw got the best part of the draft. They got 3 maineventers: King Booker, Lashley and my favorite wrestler Mr.Kennnnnnedy. They got rid of The Great Khali come on it was great for Raw1

ECW i would imagine may load up with guys during the supplemental draft.

So to compare. Snitsky for Boogeyman, honestly, you're just trading shit for shit. I understand boogey going to the sci-fi channel. I think that was more of a television move then anything. As long as he's off TV, I'm fine with it. Snitsky was inevitable to be fed to Cena.

Lashley for Benoit: Obviously Benoit is the better choice. Benoit is going to help elevate the younger guys to the next level His matches are always top notch, and he brings out the other guy. Lashley is to green to carry a brand on his own. Lashley going to Raw makes it that much easier to skip Raw on mondays.

Well IMO ECW did very well with Benoit. I mean Benoit wasn't doing anything productive or deserving on Smackdown anyway. He was being held down like he has been for most of his career, specifically WCW. Lashey needed to move on since they were using his ECW Title run to give him more tv time and he has gone over well, plus Vince loves him. Benoit is the best active technical wrestler out there now (since technical wrestling isn't "the thing" anymore). If you look at it as a trade, it's a fair trade. The Boogyman acquisition to me was just a fill in thing since RAW and Smackdown for whatever reason have to be better shows. I knew they weren't going to have someone do the drafting since ECW, Smackdown don't have a GM. The comuterized draft was good, there were pretty good picks for every brand (ther than tori). Again, Benoit is a GREAT pic, he is a role model, a veteran, he knows the game, and a great athlete.
