Echelon's Women's Match of the week

OMG I love you!! I've been wanting to see this match for so long, but I couldn't buy the SHIMMER vol. 9 DVD.

The match definitely lives up to all the hype I've heard some of the fans giving it. Absolutely loved MsChif in this- she shined all the way to the end. The crazy DDT off the top rope, and her huge leap on Amazing Kong on the outside, the way she sold Amazing Kong's beating (though I bet it wasn't that hard seeing as Amazing Kong is very stiff). Amazing Kong does her role to perfection. The way she screamed every time MisChif kicked out gets you so excited. The torture rack looked extremely painful, and the two sitout powerbombs were sick- and did you see that missile dropkick! Amazing Kong's so agile for being a large wrestler.

Fantastic match between these two. MisChif definitely deserved that standing ovation at the end. Now if I only could see Cheerleader Melissa vs Sara Del Rey!

Great thread Echelon, finally we will get to see some great women's wrestling and what a perfect way to start.
I am going to agree with Dragon, that torture rack looked f'in painful and even had a slight chuckle when MsChif hit the running knee and couldnt drag her out of the corner.
Not to mention when Kong hit that seated powerbomb (Which i must say she hit it better than you know who) and finally womens wrestling to be proud of, not those skanks WWE dishes up. (With exceptions)
They both totally deserved the applause they got there
Once again great way to start a great thread.

On a sidenote, didnt i read that kong signed with TNA?
Sidenote 2 Echelon, what will be the approximate day that the new videos come out? Cuase i cant wait
 
I was gonna use them womens matches you sent me the links too next week, i was gonna do a big womens special...but you beat me to it... grrr. Good thread idea though.

Great match deff. Amazing kong is just a monster.

Kong signed on to TNA as Awesome Kong

I will release I video per week, I have the match for next week and I'll update the thread with the new match on Monday. I'll be releasing a new match every following Monday.

Until then, enjoy this Match.

I thought the build up of the match was great, up until that point Kong had been nothing short of dominate, Mschif came the closest that anyone's ever come to pinning Kong. Also Mschif had alot on the line, that may have pushed her harder to try and beat Kong, as this match was a champion vs champion match, with both Women's belts on the line.
 
Great match yet again, my net is down at home so i had to stay back after work to watch it but it was a good decision i say. :) Alot of offence from Sara, loved the submission holds, but when daizee hit she hit some good stuff. Also the leap contest was interestingly amusing.

Echelon, the last match was title v title, could you please say what the background for this match was? Muchly appreciated
 
There's no background for it, this match was just a singles match between 2 friends that are both faces and fan favorites. The reason for Sara's aggressiveness later in the match as most likely due to being shown up by the referee in the Kip up contest.

here is a Sarah Stock match, also known as Dark Angel. She was one of the wrestlers that TNA was in talks with in bringing her to their Womens roster. Think of Stock as a white Gail Kim, but with in ring skills that are 10 times better.

Great match, I wont lie I have no idea who these two are but i shall wikipedia it after this, but i do like submission wrestling and i really enjoyed this

I thought these two worked well together, and had a couple of high flying spots. Just a giant contrast to the first two matches in this thread.
Well picked and looking forward to the next one.
 
Holy Fucking God!!!!!!, that match was fucking nuts!!!, Lufisto is one tough chick to say the least, and I still can't beleive she kicked out of that back breaker on the chairs, great fucking match Ech:thumbsup:
 
I have respect for LuFisto because she's tougher than nails, but I'm not a big fan of that match. You get so caught up in the gore that you don't even notice that there's a match going on. Less is definitely more, and that should have been applied in this match.

O - M - G That match was brutal to say the least. LuFisto is one tough lady. Even with the stiff punches dealt by Necro she kept on going and i agree with Justinsayne i cant believe she kicked out of the backbreaker on the edge of the chairs.
Although i also agree with Dragon in that with all the gore you forget that there is a match going on, however it just shows IMO that there is a woman wrestler who can go toe to toe with the men in the harcore matches.

Having said that i wonder - Dragon no offence, i have read your posts and always enjoy your thoughts and i do agree with you in regards to the amount of excessive violence - that does this match seem more brutal because one of the participants is female? I know that during the match i said to myself a couple of times what the hell else is she going to endure and while i would say the same with two men going at it i probably would be as worried about the health of the stars as i was during that.
Its getting late and i dont really know if that made sense

Another great match and again very different to the others already been posted. This thread is fast becoming a favourite and it is just great to see a wide variety of matches by world class wrestlers.
Again Kudos Echelon great match and hope to see LuFisto again in the thread in the future

Well, personally I think it's great to see that another female, or female wrestler is willing to take hits like that. LuFisto is a tough girl, and I expected to see brutality in her matches, but this one just went overboard to me. Same with Necro Butcher.

Wow, then I'd definitely stay away from the Queen of the Deathmatch DVD if I were you Dragon. Because this match could be considered relatively weak compared to what those women do to each other on the DVD.

Thanks for the advice. I don't mind watching the match, I just don't get the point of it. No wonder LuFisto had to retire early.

Hey there, just rewatched the match and enjoyed it immensely again. Saw things that i didnt the first time and even watched the ending (First time through i stopped after the pinfall cause i had to go to the shops before they shut) and the show of respect at the end was touching.

Great end to a great match

In response to Dragon, totally agree that it is great to see a female wrestler take those hits and she is one tough lady no doubt about it. She would certainly kick my arse thats for f'ing sure.

Brutal to say the least, Dragon I dont think you are going to like this one :)
Good back and forth action and loved the boot to finish it off.

I know you couldnt help it but the quality of the footage was the only real downer for me, it was like watching with really thick glasses on.
But if that is the only real downside then i suppose thats a good thing.

Just wondering what the next match is going to be cant wait
 
I was lucky to have found this match even on Dailymotion, If I had bought the match it would have been much better quality, but I don't know how to upload matches from my computer and place them on the internet, I just don't have the software. I have 20 great matches I could show you, but until I find a way to upload those matches I guess I'll guess I'll just have to search for stuff online and take what I can get.
 
On my earlier post, sorry if i offended, i was taking nothing away from the match by saying the footage quality is bad, i was trying to say that if that is the only thing wrong with it than it is still a great match and i respect how hard it is to find matches of a high quality. I mean i typed womens wrestling in youtube and all i got was some faux porn so i gave up on that pretty quickly. :)

Again cant wait for next week

On a sidenote I know this really isnt the right place but since you are the resident expert on womens wrestling, i am going to go on ebay or amazon and buy one or two or three womens wrestling dvd which ones would you say are the best of the best?
(Also if there is a better way to ask this question could you please let me know, mucho thanko)
