Was thinking of the Boogeyman and wondering why they allow him to wrestle. I think his character would be ok if he was more in touch with the people. What I mean is this. First, don't allow him to wrestle anymore. His presence should be felt only backstage. He should go by a real name, and be known as a mysterious force, or bearer of knowledge. More like a source of good or evil. Practicing hudu, but in a much more modern look. Not some worm eating fool.
Very subtle dark natured beast. Maybe he curses wrestlers at the request of others, but you must give him something in return. Making these request rare, and confidential. There is so much more they can do out of the ring to make his character unique. Maybe even serve as a spiritual guru for the likes of certain WWE stars who look to seek truth from him, and not the powers of evil. Possessing mystical powers similar to the Undertaker.
