Domestic football - spam version

It's more the gloating side of things.

Course it's hard for me, I'm a Newcastle fan.

Just watched a Sky+ recording of Alan Shearer's top 100 Premier League goals....my god that man could hit a ball. Some absolute fucking rockets.

The volley against Everton is still my favourite goal of all time, incredible.

What I would give to have a young Shearer in the England team now. How much do you think he'd be worth in his prime in today's market? £60m?

I thought this was a pretty interesting graphic. It was funny to read comments about how most of his goals were tap-ins or penalties, when in fact he's only scored 6 penalties for England and I think 4 of them have come in the last year. Plus, most strikers do tend to score their goals from inside the box.

I went through Charlton's the other day and 16 were in the home nations cup thing.

I think its a shame that we can't all appreciate that we have seen such a feat achieved in our lifetime. I aren't Rooneys biggest fan and feel he is overrated but I think instead of all this nitpicking and so forth we (The English) should appreciated one of Englands greatest goalscorers instead of the bitching and debating that we have seen on social media.

This is one of the greatest honours that every young child will have dreamt about and it's been torn apart by cynical bastards.

The simple fact is Rooney has scored more goals for his country than any other English player in history.

People may slag him off, but he's been the best English striker of his generation and scoring FIFTY goals for the national team is a phenomenal achievement.

Well done Wayne

I didn't think the second half was all that good. It just had some good goals. Both teams gave the ball away drastically. Liverpool just managed to do it in their own half over and over again.

Beauty from Neymar!

SuperSub Leo Messi scored the eventual winning goal after coming on around the hour mark, earlier Fernando Torres had put Atletico ahead in the game. Valuable away win for Barcelona going forward.

Meanwhile elsewhere, C.Ronaldo hit 5 goals vs Espanyol.

If you are a football fan, you guys need to see NBCSN's Premier League Download of Bournemouth. The first half hour brought tears to my eyes.
