The annoyance was inconsitency in refereeing and shit tactics from us.
The free kick that resulted in the second goal we'd seen plenty of times. 5 mackems players jumped in the crowd twice and no yellows (aside from fletcher). Cattermole and colback should have been booked too.
Fair play to the mackems, they played the way you play against a flair team and hack to fuck and close down the ball.

This is a nice little curve Arsenal have hit. I still think they need a better ST. Giroud is just super meh.

The Liverpool formation was a poor choice for the players we had available - it exposed both Flanagan and Cissokho, neither of whom are wing backs. The deployment of two defensive midfielders made it even worse as it put even more emphasis on the two of them to get forward and as a result neither ended up doing either of their jobs.
Coutinho, despite his radar being a bit off, could probably have started as he was able to find space in the packed midfield while Henderson was given no chance to do anything other than run around after the ball - although his goal was wrongfully disallowed.

Giroud is very much a team player. No coincidence the goals are spread around the team when he's playing. They could do with a backup striker though just in case.
Really feared the worst when i saw Flanagan in the team, would like to know what was up with Kelly. Felt Flanagan did as well as he could do based on his limited ability.
I agree with Barbosa though, if we had Johnson and Enrique starting we might have been able to offer more out wide but instead we had out 4th choice RB and a LB in only his 4th game back.
