I wont lie, that was a bit gutting. Southampton played well enough but if Rooney had tucked away his chance after the first goal then that would have eased a lot of the tension.

I think the news of Januzaj signing will ease the disappointment a little bit. The sub choices today were a bit baffling, I expected Zaha to come on for Nani but the addition of Giggs just seemed to lop-side the midfield. Ah well, Sociedad on Wednesday to look forward to.
