Domestic football - spam version

Where's that gif of that ginger mackem fan telling Di Canio to take his kaboos back to the dressing room?

Joey Barton:

Hate seeing problems at 5under1and. They are my 5,231 favourite footy team. It is also my 7,230,182 fav city to visit for vacation. #gutted

Di Canio said to be devastated on having to leave the cultural utopia that is 5under1and to go back home to Rome...

Dammit, I had Sunderland going down because Di Canio was in charge, I didn't think they'd fire him so soon. Now, if they make a good appointment, there's time for them to be saved. Ruining my predictions.

Also, it doesn't matter what Joey Barton said, he's still an utter scumbag.

Finally, I respected AVB until I saw his post-match interview today. That smug, self-satisfied talk of footballing "justice" like when Xavi called Arsenal beating Barca a "football accident." What is it that makes Spanish and Portguese players/managers such arrogant *****?

Doesn't matter if he's a scumbag, he's right this time.

Best comments of the weekend were Pards who said:

"Today, it’s the inconsistency of performance that this team is searching for. The team that finished fifth, you see similarities with this team, but that team had a consistency about its performance, as a team, not as individuals.

"The formation was the same today, the set-up was the same but we looked not the same. We looked too loose, and gifted goals and you can’t do that against any opposition.

"I’ll be the first to pay tribute to Hull, they played very well. But for us, it’s a really disappointing day. It’s the commitment and the quality that you need in every game, that we showed at Villa.

"Today, it’s not just the looseness of the team but the distance between our units and our selection of passing wasn’t as great as it has been in the last two or three games.

"We weren’t as solid as we were at Villa, and you’ve got to do it home and away in this division.”

"We had a day at the office that we would like to forget quite quickly, and move on.”

In regards to the AVB comments, justice was done. Tottenham bossed that game practically for 90 minutes. A draw would have been harsh on Tottenham and flattered their opponents.

Man the League Cup show is shit. If Sammy Ameobi a local England U 21 player and got two assists played for Spurs or someone they'd be all over it.

I love being an Arsenal fan on Spurs vs Chelsea day. I get to watch a (usually) enjoyable match, and I'm happy whatever the result. Though I am slightly pulling for Spurs today, since Chelsea might get into an unstoppable groove if they beat Spurs.

For everyone of Swansea, Stoke and us who get a point Man U drop a place. They could potentially by 15th on Monday.

City losing did ease some of the sting.

I'll be really unhappy if Moyes gets ousted before the end of the season and anyone believing that there wouldn't be rough patches for 'New' United is a clown. I said before the start of the season that this would be like a massive restart to the Premier League and it's quite interesting to see pretty much every side capable of losing to anyone else at any time.

MAn City lose to Villa who lose to Newcastle who lose to Man City.
