I think he pretty much is. He apparently wasn't breathing when he was stretchered off. Respect to the Spurs fans, though, everyone looked extremely shook up.

They tried to bring him round for 10 minutes on the pitch and that didn't work, so it's not looking good at all.

Your source is a parody account. The chelsea fan ewho RT'd that then goes on to say:

Unconfirmed but reports say Ambulance crew got Muamba breathing again.

It's all rumours and hearsay.

From Sky News' Twitter:

"Hospital spokesperson says Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba is in a stable condition after collapsing on pitch during match with Tottenham"

Can't post link - on phone.

Nobody else is running with SSN's "stable" line - the BBC News website has quoted the official joint release from the hospital and Bolton:

"Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Fabrice Muamba has been admitted to The Heart Attack Centre at The London Chest Hospital where he is in a critically ill condition in intensive care," said a joint statement from Bolton and the hospital released at 2130 GMT on Saturday.

"No further information will be issued at this stage. The club and hospital request that the media and public respect the family's privacy at this time."

To be fair they need to go off the official statement rather than someone in the hospital.

Glad he's okay, or alive at least, pretty much everyone involved in football is sending their thoughts out about it, and Juventus or a player from Juventus dedicated their 5-0 win to him, even if they havent even heard of the guy I guess the thought is nice.

That's mighty decent of them.

Would like to hear something from Motherwell considering what happened to Phil O'Donnell a couple years ago. Still can't get over Muamba being an athlete, being a year younger than me and having that happen to him. Christ.

Honestly it's looking pretty fucking grim. The fact that despite the medics getting to him so quickly, he's still in such a bad state and anesthetized 24 hours later, that's not normal in my experience.
