Domestic football - spam version

I love FM, I've started playing FM 2010 again, it's the best my machine can cope with. Having a good little game with Napoli at the moment but Hamsik and Quagliarella are getting itchy feet and I can't buy Cavani. Going to try a change in formation and have bought Granero and Affelay in for it.

I have a game to 2018 with Bayern Munich and that was the best game I have ever had in the series. I had a part to play in developing 80% of the best regens in the game. Just an incredibly pleasurable experience that I've not got close to replicating.

I managed to get Wales the World Cup. I also won Wigan the Champions League, Wolfsburg a domestic double three seasons running, and a Derby County team that had sunk into the Conference back into the Premier League, all in the same career. Not too bad. My time as France manager was best forgotten though.

I own four versions of FM. 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2011. I usually get them come the end of a season for whatever reason. Love playing as a small team and building them up. However I do sometimes take on the role at Liverpool.

On FM 2010 I'm in 2026; 17 years of management. Very few players from when you originally start the game remain. Gary Neville is the manager of Manchester United, Steve Gerrard manages Fulham and Jason McAteer(due to me) manages Chelsea; McA left Liverpool coaching staff to become manager of Huddersfield and ended up getting them to the Premiership.

The story of it is why its my favourite game. I began at Liverpool, won the Premier League twice, Champions League once, several domestic trophies but the club went into administration(Hicks and Gillett are shit owners in the game much like real life). In 2018 I was sacked after coming second in the Premiership losing out to Man City by a point, and I hadn't won a trophy in two years. So I became the manager of the Republic of Ireland.

When I manage a nationality I just go on holiday between announcing your team. Was manager until the 2020 World Cup when I noticed Liverpool again went into administration, Steven Gerrard was in his late 30's, I believe nearly forty and was still playing, Torres was still there, Reina, Agger; average team age was like 27 and a transfer embargo was in place. I left ROI to become manager at Birmingham, who'd qualified for the Europa League(always forget the in-game name), managed them for two seasons and in 2022, Liverpool were relegated, in major debt, looking for a new owner, had some manager I'd never seen, Agger was in his late 30's and captain, Torres retired, Gerrard was gone a couple seasons and was a coach but the team became youth and reserves.

I made my interest known, left Birmingham, went to the Championship and managed Liverpool again. Brought in any decent free transfers I could find and got them back up within a year. Finally got a new Owner after Hicks and Gillett had ran the team into the ground and bought some good computer created youngsters.

I love this particular game because I feel there is a real story to it.

Before I would have been happy with that result, during 1-1 was mroe apt.
