Domestic football - spam version

Did you know Freddie Flintoff (yeah, that kebab-chewing larger-swilling wanker) was asked to join WWE? Yeah. Fuck. He had a try out and everything.

To be fair the mackems were cracking all game. Citeh did their cocky "turn up to win" thing.

It really needs to be something interesting to get Martin Tyler out of his usual dirge.

"I may have just seen the best goal ever but I will still report it like my dog has just died"

On another point, the bumming that Gerrard got when he came on against Newcastle was sickening. I would still not say that it was as bad as Lampard because Gerrard did actually change the tempo of the game as well as scoring whilst Lampard was just able to hit the ball as hard as he could from 12 yards.

Still it made me roll my eyes.

I'm currently working on today's RAW LD, and I'm looking for an image, but whilst on Google images, I ran into this:

SpursCenaREX_468x386.jpg

I had heard Cena was a Spurs fan, but I wasn't aware he'd been given the whole shirt/photo treatment.

I actually watched this video not too long ago. I was having a binge on some Tubes vids from Soccer AM, watched the vid where Mysterio says he's upset Mexico didn't make it to the Euros then soon enough found this.

Not entirely sure how we lost last night, let alone 3-0. Dominated the vast majority of the game and made City look pretty ordinary at times and forced them to play like the away side, albeit without fashioning many chances.

I am starting to get worried about our lack of cutting edge. In particular, our crossing was horrendous. If we had any other options on the wing, I would have Downing not just out of the team but sold on. He has fully lived up to my expectations of him before we signed him - complete shite. Not only did he miss the golden chance early on, he criminally fails to take on his full back like a winger should and his crossing is diabolically bad. As well as Toure and especially Kompany played last night, most of the defending they had to do from flank attacks was meat and drink stuff as the ball did not get beyond the front post, leaving Carroll a complete spectator (for once not his own fault as his hold up play was better than usual).

What made Carroll's job even more pointless was that the few times the ball reached him in the air there was not another Liverpool player within 15 yards of him so if he did not get a header on target, he had no one to flick it on/back to. Completely isolated. Even when Suarez is playing with Carroll, the sheer amount of movement that the Uruguayan gets through means that Carroll rarely has a target to aim at on the few occasions the ball is thrown into to him in a winnable position.

Part of me is glad that Messiah Gerrard did not turn it around last night so that the media might actually calm down about him getting back to fitness. Not much chance of that though.

Forget the Suarez racism case for unless it goes to court, the accusations of FA balls-ups is not going to get us anywhere. Instead, we should be focusing on on getting another striker. Luuk de Jong's name has been spoken of for an Anfield move but I do not think he is the answer as he is nowhere near as prolific in the Eredivisie as Kujt or Suarez. I would far rather take a punt on Podolski. At least if he does not turn out to be the answer, he could be deployed as a winger.

Liverpool will be back in the mid-table if they don't buy a striker pronto. I just can't see where the goals are going to come from. Maxi Rodriguez looked the most likely. That tells a story in itself.

Although, Barbosa, I do agree that City never should of won 3-0. Both teams were so flat and vanilla it was disgusting. Poor match all round. A draw would have been a fair result.

So, going to Craven Cottage on Saturday. Just remembered that means I'll be sitting with, you know, away fans. We'll see how my occasional applause goes over with them. Maybe I'll yell "Come on Charlton!" at some point to appease them. Unlikely.

Tonights crazy bets.
Obertan first scorer. 36/1 :lmao:
Red card 5/1
Cabaye 2 goals or more 86/1

HE'S SCORED A MILLION GOALS SINCE RAMADAN I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH

Next you'll say Tim Howard has scored for Everton.

You beat me to it. Definitely be watching Match of the Day tonight, barring a Toon collapse.

Ok, bigger shock...

Newcastle beating and outplaying Man Ure?
Tom Howard scoring?
David Ngog scoring?
