Domestic football - spam version

Are we actually going to do this?

In an outlandish prediction, I think It's possible that the three teams above the relegation zone will replace the three currently there.

It's been a weird season. Arsenal are on top for several months, and Liverpool are favourites to win the title. It's like... The opposite of the entire last decade.

Alan Pardew acquired another unwanted record for his expanding collection; namely that of the first Newcastle manager to lose five successive Premier League fixtures.

Someone on Twitter said they'd probably add a Connor Wickam flag in Anfield.

It's more about Assaidi and Borini for me. Loaned out and both have winning goals against Chelsea. I'm looking forward to similar performances from Crystal Palace's Iago Aspas next season.

Twitter rumours are Moyes has been sacked.

Better than yesterday when we were linked with Sherwood.

Also those kids mams are going to go mental when they realise they have no sheet for bed.

Moyes is just out of his depth at a club like us. It's not his fault, seems like a thoroughly decent bloke who just has the misfortune of being completely tactically inept. Not surprised that the players lost faith in him, hopefully we get van Gaal/Klopp in. van Gaal being far more likely.

The clamour for Van Gaal bemuses me - a panic, stop-gap appointment if there ever was one. He has "Spurs manager" written all over him.

As for Klopp, if Mourinho was not considered a viable successor to SAF, then a lunatic like Klopp won't be either.

I am sure that even without Champions League football next season, United could attract better. Personally, I think Jupp Heyneckes would be a better bet than either of the above.

I wasn't sold on van Gaal initially, but having done a bit of research and that he seems like a good choice. Iniesta credits him with bringing through his generation of Barca players along with Victor Valdes and Thiago Motta. Seems like he's the kind of fella that won't stay around for long, but he'll leave decent foundations for years to come.

And he actually has a philosophy based on attacking football which is a bonus.

Also, he apparently got his balls out in a half time team talk once. We need more of that in English football.

Giggs could easily become the next manager. Inexperienced, yes, but he is a Man United guy. He has won trophies as a player (unlike Moyes) there and the fans simply won't turn on him.

United have shown they want to go for the long term, so it probably won't be a foreigner. Equally, they can't go with anyone British because they took Moyes and the fans won't want anyone perceived to be a small timer.

So they'll either stupidly give one of the biggest jobs in world football to an unproven guy that's still playing in Giggs, or they'll bring Ferguson back until he dies and then get Martinez.
