Roman Reigns' damn ring gear.

I just cant him seriously. Sure, he's obviously here to stay and is the next big thing. but change his damn ring gear!

Throw some trunks on him. Without sounding gay, the guy has a massive physique. Show it off! Make him look like a Superstar instead of a Trashbagger.

Not really. When I think about it in terms of taking someone "serious" when it comes to ring gear, Reigns looks more "realistic" than the vast majority of other wrestlers. I mean...think about it...most wrestlers wrestle in what amounts to nothing more than knee pads, high laced up boots and tights that look like tidy whitey brief style underwear make out of some sort of spandex type material.

To me, ring gear is generally something that ranks along with theme songs most of the time in that I don't really care as long as it's not laughably ridiculous.

Would you rather see him wearing the same ring gear as for example Adam Rose, Diego (from Los Matadores) or one of the Wyatt family members? I think he looks damn serious, yes this is defined by your opinion. You think his gear is not serious I think it is. But you have to admit, he is wearing one of those "better ring gears" from those we can see all around the superstars.

No way, I dig his look. Having him be just another guy in trunks would be a huge mistake, in my opinion.

What's wrong with the Swat gear he wears? I like it, and it still shows off his physique. Much rather see Reigns in the tac gear, than what Rollins is stuck with now. Am I the only one who's noticed that he can't walk properly in it.

I have a feeling you could put Reigns in a burlap bag, and he's still look fantastic and fierce.

It doesn't really make much difference, I suppose. For whatever reason, management seems to want him to continue his Shield identity, even to being the only one of the three to continue walking down the aisle for his ring entrance.

Interestingly, almost all of the Shield's existence featured a team of bad guys, and we sooner identify the color black with a heel.....yet Reigns is a face.....so go figure.

Eventually, he'll change his appearance; maybe when he goes bad, somewhere down the line. If he's got that great a bod, I'd like to see it.

His Shield attire was awesome and made him look like he came out of an action movie.

Don't know why they switched to those 1999 Gothic High Schooler/Jeff Hardy pants they had laying around in the back, but it looks silly lol.

Not that big a deal though, really doesn't affect me.

Although I do not think they should make him another generic Create-A-Wrestler with trunks.

His gear is fine. It gives him a tough guy look and it's fairly unique. Look at Cena, something so simple makes a huge difference.

In fact, they have done well giving Wyatt, Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns unique looks. A majority wear the little tights and at least these guys looks different. Maybe in the future Reigns can wrestle without the vest but for now his look is working.

I wouldn't really change anything, but I think he should bring back that bad ass mask the Shield was wearing to the ring for a month or so before the split. And that has big merchandise $ written all over it.

I wouldn't necessarily say his ring gear bothers me, but I do wish they'd do something to better differentiate his look from Rollins. They just put Ambrose in street clothes, which works great for his character. I say put Rollins in more wrestling-style tights, since he's more mobile than the other two. Reigns already kept the Shield music and entrance through the crowd, so why not keep the similar ring gear and look? I agree to bring back the bandana over the mouth as he walks in. If he would change it up, maybe make the vest removable or just put a tank-style singlet top over it. Maybe he's more comfortable with a top.

Romans gear is just fine! Ring Gear has never bothered me i consider next to nothing. If he /she is entertaining can speak well on the mic and have some decent wrestling ability,then ring gear is not important

This may be out of left field, but I think he may still have the top portion of his get-up because of his physique. I don't think it was just me, but when he got beat down a while back and had his top ripped off I remember being underwhelmed. He is clearly in much better shape than most of us, but I remember thinking that he wasn't nearly as "ripped" as I expected him to be. Rollins has more definition in his upper body than Reigns. Reigns' arms and shoulders give the impression that he is some kind of Adonis, but his core didn't quite measure up. Even my wife commented on the same thing, thinking he would have been bigger.

But, to answer the original question, no, it doesn't bother me, but more because it helps him maintain the appearance of being bigger than he actually is, in my opinion.

I have more of an issue with Rollins' ring gear than Roman Reigns'. Rollins looks like he raided Repo Man's wardrobe to me. There's just something very awkward looking about it.

I honestly feel the same. It is a terrible look that really has not varied from his Shield look. Plus the women that already go wild for the guy would just be even more excited to see him in an outfit that exposes 90% of his body.

I think his gear is fine, though like someone already said, the Goth pants should be switched back to the original ones.

If anyone has a stupid look (other than Cena) I would say its Rowan with the green Jason Vorhees over-alls look (however you spell it). Add in his bald head and weird red beard and he just looks like a cartoon character. They should make him always wear that lamb mask.

And someone just ruined Rollins for me - I knew there was something weird about him and you hit it spot on - those pants make it look like he has trouble walking. Have to say the guy is in way better shape than I thought he was, for whatever that is worth. He looks like a non-flabby CM Punk.

Honestly i think that if the attire matches the demeanor, attitude, and approach that a wrestler has or the company wants, then it is fine by me. He is meant to be more of a fighter instead of a wrestler, so the attire is nothing major for me to worry about.

I always liked the pseudo-Bossman look for the Shield. It's badass. Mercenary.

Reigns is fine. He's also now the only dude on the roster with that look, so keep it I say.
