So watching the beginning of Raw, when they were doing the replays from last week, I noticed something.. Looking at those moves in slow-motion, they didn't seem as effective. For the most part I might add.
The reply of "The Wasteland" on Undertaker.. In slow motion, didn't really seem as effective, or that great. Yes the move has been criticized before for not looking great, but that was one case it really didn't look good, or effective at all. In fast motion? Looked way better.
The 450 Splash #1. (On Undertaker) Now granted, I'm shocked that 'Taker would have a rookie do a High impact move on him, being that a WWE vet in Rey Mysterio had accidentally injured him months ago. Showed a lot of trust on 'Taker's part. But. In slow motion, you could see him move way too much, to brace for it. Just took away the "Awe factor" in it for me, because wasn't he supposed to have been "Knocked out"?
450 Splash #2. Say what you want about Cena no-selling., but this was well done. He stayed still right up until the last second before moving his arms and bracing himself for the impact. Even in slowmo it didn't look that bad.
There have often been times in the past where they have shown a clip in slow motion, and it made it look bad. So I was wondering..
Does doing the reply in Slow Motion kill the effect of the move for the viewer?
