I am a big believer in moral relativism. As such I tend to find people trying to enforce their personal moral compass on people they don't even know to be stupid. Some people find cheating to be immoral, some people find having lots of different sexual partners to be immoral. I don't really give a fuck what people do on their own when it comes to sex. I don't cheat but it isn't because I think it is inherently wrong. It is, among other reasons involving disinterest and being happy as is, because I know the person I am with would care and I do care what she thinks. That is what guides my personal moral compass, what I care about and people whose feelings matter to me care about, not what other people that don't even know me or my situation want to say is "right." There are no universal truths and believing your personal viewpoints are such truths is arrogant etc.

I am just not convinced that either side has clearly found the right path. Apparently everyone wants lots of sex from different people. Some people just go around doing that without committing to a relationship because they value the sex more. Someone else values the relationship more but can't get past the desire for sex part. Since this is all based in the realm of societal mores, I find it hard to overlook the value society places on relationships over just sex.
