this should be a great match i fully expect roode to retain but it should be a great match and i wonder where aries goes from here.

Glad Aries is getting a title shot; he deserves one. While it still kinda sucks that he gave the X-Division championship up, he still put it over and gave it that much more credibility, which was cool. I expect Roode to retain.

Of all the things TNA does wrong this is actually great booking in my opinion. Im glad that Aries is gettin his shot although I dont see him winning the big one just yet this is a great way to put over not jus a great wrestler/worker but a title as well. The X-Division championship was really underplayed for a while in TNA and i think the higher ups over at WWE should see this and do the same with their mid-card titles. I expect a high impact (no pun intended) match from these two and am looking forward to it.

Haven't seen a TNA ppv since last years Destination X but this years one might be worth getting based on this match which should be pretty good considering the talent of both men and if it is booked properly. Interested to see what else they come up with for the undercard.

I love the fact that TNA managed to turn a non-heavyweight title into a title that is almost just as important. What the X-Division title means right now is what the IC title should have been for the last decade.

But anyways, I think this will be a tremendous match. Roode has proved a solid champion and Aries has deserved to be in the spotlight for awhile not past his x-title.

This is probably the best match on paper since Roode and Storm for Lockdown. Roode retains here but Aries will definitely give the champ a serious run for his money. This is what a lot of folks have been waiting to see from Aries, and it shouldn't disappoint.

This is a greatly booked match. It's interesting to see Aries in the main event. It's fitting because it is Destination X. And, I am intrigued in this match, despite knowing Aries has no shot.

IHW's Prediction-
Roode retains in the most interesting Title match I have seen in a long time.

Grandma Says- "Austin is too small for this! He may have beat Joe, but he had no championship. Roode is going to eat him up."

Wow, TNA really don't care how successful their PPVs are!

I'm sure this will be a good quality match. And hey, looks like Roode might cleanly defend his championship for once. But in this day and age I fail to see how this, at this moment, is a headline worthy match.

The should really be a great match, and fits perfectly that Aries gets the shot at Destination X. I have been looking forward to this match since the rumors started that it was going to happen. I think Roode will retain, but Aries will give him a run for his money and will be a great match.

I love the new stipulation for Destination X. That show always needed something to set it apart from the rest and it always had that feeling of being one of the bigger shows of the year, and now it can truly be just that. Every year we can look forward to the X Division Champion challenging the TNA World Champion in a match. Aries is the perfect candidate for beginning this tradition. He had such a good X Division Championship reign and I am sad to see it end, what better way to end it than this though? X Division Champion VS TNA World Champion at Destination X as an annual tradition that is hopefully here to stay!

With that being said.... Roode will NOT be losing here. Aries is getting a preview of what main eventing will be like, and will lose the match in the end. Roode should remain champion until Storm has won the Bound For Glory series. I'm not the only one who sees that happening, they have been building up toward it for a long time. I have to say that this the match I am looking forward to the most out of any on the card and I cannot wait to see what happens. This match will close the show, nothing else on the card deserves it more.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Bobby Roode will retain the TNA World Championship.

Some good talent in the ring. I don't know if it's Aries' time yet. TNA might want to milk this out and have the rest of the locker room buzz about how awesome it is to put over these guys as stars. If TNA is serious about being the "IN TEH RINGZ" promotion, this would be a pretty good feud to promote.

I'm gonna have to be the man who goes for the Dark Horse here. Austin Aries has been built the right way. He took the X-Division title back in September when he defeated Brian Kendrick for the title. He took the title and has defeated everyone that has come to his face and challenged him. He's been heel and face during his reign. And not only that, but he's got the company behind him.

Aries is a wrestler's wrestler, and as long as TNA continues to back the guy, he can go far. Bobby Roode already holds the record for being the longest World champion, and if there's anyone in TNA that can demolish that record, it would be the former X-Division and current longest reigning champion himself in Austin Aries. This is a great match up, and quite frankly a dream match that definitely should deliver.

It's almost like back in the Ruthless Aggression days of WWE when JBL was WWE champion and Helms was the Cruiserweight. Helms should've at least challenged for the title then, but unfortunately it didn't happen. Still, this will be much better than anything that could've happened back then.
