Kendrick needs to win this. If Kendrick doesn't win here at the fucking all X Division PPV after all this build then this whole angle of Abyss destroying the X Division will be a complete and utter failure (well, more so than it already is). This is the night where the X Divison is meant to stand strong and regain their title so that needs to happen here.
The match probably wont be that much but it could be alright if Kendrick bumps him ass off for Abyss. Abyss and Kaz managed a decent match so this could be ok if done right.
Kendrick to win and go on to have a good, long title reign.

I dont see the point of this match if Kendrick does not win, unless Abyss suddenly starts firing out the Shooting Star Presses, 450 Corkscrew Moonsaults, and Top rope backflips.
As Brownstone said, this PPV is focusing on the X-Division style wrestlers and showcasing their abilities. If the one who is in the title matches loses, then the whole PPV would have been a waste. Kendrick needs to win this one. I reckon he will, but I could quite easily see Abyss coming out with the win

i don't think brian kendrick will win against abyss. You remember in 1998 when the rock lost to mankind at rock bottom to his own ppv. It is possible to dedicate a ppv to the x devision and have kendrick lose.

Abyss is too consumed with his fake coloring Art of War book to notice Kendrick. I think Kendrick will eventually get the upper hand and hopefully become the new X division champion. I just hope he goes in and leaves being serious instead of having the same stoner guy guru gimmick.
This is a X Division PPV. Abyss doesn't like the X Division. Brian Kendrick does. This one really writes itself, doesn't it? Kendrick has to win. I can't believe that TNA would book it any other way.
As for the match itself, on paper, it should be bad. However - despite having never been a fan of huge man vs. little man matches - their match on Impact Wrestling a few weeks ago wasn't horrible. So on PPV, it should be better.

What I see happening is Abyss dominating Kendrick throughout the whole match, then at one point there's a ref bump and a bunch of X-Division guys come out and all hit their finishers on Abyss, with Kendrick having the final blow. Cover, 1.2.3. Boom, new Champion.

Personally, I think this match is going to be the dud. Even if Kendrick wins. Because he and Abyss have no chemistry with each other. At all.

I'm Really looking forward to this match between Kendrick and Abyss. I have really enjoyed this David vs Goliath type storyline with Abyss as the X-division champion but come this Sunday at Destination I think its Kendrick's time to shine and he will conquer Goliath and become the new X-Division Champion. I think that this will be a solid Big Man/Little Man match. I predict that Kendrick will either win this match Cleanly or possibly Gen Me and Amazing Red will come down to the ring and distract Abyss and Kendrick will roll him up for the 123 and become the new champ.

This is probably the only match that doesn't make since to me. I kind of understand what TNA is trying to do with the X-Divison but having Abyss the only guy that's not really a X-Division person on an ALL X-Division PPV. I would have moved Joe into this match since is kind of the only one that matches close to Abyss size. OR They could've done another rematch or just had this Triple Threat match this time instead at the last PPV (Abyss (C) vs Kaz vs Kendrick). OR Kaz or Kendrick could've won the title and kind of toyed with Abyss wanting a rematch or start destorying X-Division wrestlers until he got the rematch after the PPV. Since the current champ had already had an oppentend that Mick Foley picked out before he got fired.
They could've done so much of a better job to have a great Title Match then what they got here.

i think this match could be entertaining if Abyss wins this whole ppv could become a fail i mean come on its the fucking x divison ppv and this is the PERFECT time to take the title off Abyss! and i always thought Brian Kendrick could be a great x divison champion ever sense he said in a interview that he would defend against anybody and everybody who wanted a shot and even against women if they wanted a title shot i thought right there this guy should become the x divison champion....hopefully it works out and he gets the title if not...the storyline with abyss is a complete and utter failure (more then it already is)

Abyss has been working well with the smaller guys lately and I don't expect this match to be any different. I would like for Abyss to win as I've enjoyed the story of the monster dominating the high flyers but I've got a feeling Kendrick could shock the World and defeat the monster.
If anyone deserves to beat Abyss it would be Kendrick IMO. He's been by far the most intriguing and interesting X-Division character as of late.

It's kind of sad that in an X Division themed ppv, the X Division Championship is the least relevant aspect of the entire show. I don't expect much from this match and I have a feeling that it's going to be the story of the underdog making good, David slaying Goliath and all that.
Honestly, I can't say that I really care as this match has virtually no meaning and no good choices. On one hand you have Abyss, who's reign as X Division Champion has been even more mediocre than the most of the other champs for the better part of the past 3 years. Then you have Brian Kendrick, an uninteresting guy all around with a character that can't be taken seriously, who Abyss has dominated everytime they've been in the ring together.
This past Thursday, Abyss decimated Kendrick in the ring again and made it look as though Kendrick has no chance. Booking 101 says that Kendrick goes over against Abyss and becomes X Division Champion.
That's probably what would happen but I'd rather see Abyss retain the title here. I don't buy into Kendrick as the savior of the X Division and I'd rather it be someone else take down Abyss. There's an Ultimate X match to determine a new #1 contender for the title and I'd rather one of them be the one to take down the monster. If the continued relevance for the X Division is going to continue past the ppv, then get things off with the title on a good note by having someone that Abyss drop it at a somewhat later date to someone he hasn't dominated and made to look like a chump at every turn for the past few months. If the new relevance of the X Division is, for all intents and purpose, just for this ppv, then nothing that happens in this match matters anyhow.
