Desmond Wolfe

It's been bugging me, so I'm just going to go and say it:

Desmond Wolfe should have been the Network Representative over Mick Foley. A fresh authority figure who could talk with the best of them, with known links to several wrestlers currently not doing much... Not to mention it would have been a genuine surprise. Would have been better than him being Xplosion Commissioner.

Thoughts?

I agree. Wolfe would have been fresh (Foley has been an authority figure before) and his interactions with the other talent would have been better, plus he's British.

Foley is a bigger star, Desmond Wolfe has been known exclusively as a heel in Impact wrestling until now and would have taken some time to get used to, Foley has a LOT of experience in playing these roles. Just three reasons I can think of why it wouldn't have been AS good.

No. Foley was perfect. Everything TNA does, right now, is centered around bringing in new fans. Foley is known, Desmond is not.

Also, I don't see how this would make any sense. Foley has reason to crush the Hogan/Bischoff regime, Wolfe does not. This would be bringing Wolfe back just for the sake of bringing him back.

Impact Zone = Everyone receives a reaction

Actually, I think Wolfe would have gotten a face pop. Terrible idea having him as The Network, but you know as well as I do that anyone who enters the Impact Zone gets a reaction.

Nah, I think Foley is the better choice.

But as others have said....EVERYONE gets a pop in the IZ.

Case in point, I have just watched Jay Lethal vs JIM THE ANVIL NEIDHART?!?! on YouTube, and Anvil is getting "You Still Got It!" chants, when he 100% clearly does not have it.

Thank God he didnt get signed permenantly

Foley's more widely known and has a track record in this sort of situation so it's logical for him to be in the position.
