Defenders of the Universe tag team

I know I will get a lot of hate for this, but I thought this would be a good idea.
John Cena and Randy Orton are the biggest faces in WWE. Someone said they should be a modern face Two Man Power Trip. Titles or not, they could be the defenders of the universe ( WWE universe) and be ultimate heros. Thoughts?

i guess first off i must say orton and cena are on different brands. the fact is the fan actually like orton better than cena and also orton prefers to be a heal than a face. also, their respective storylines have them too involved, there is no way they would drop what they are doing so they can throw these guys in to a tag-team that will benefit no one.

Not a criticism...but I doubt anyone would take anything like that seriously...I think they're doing great on their brands, respectively. I think Cena needs a heel turn or something to really shake up his character.

What would be the point? Tag teams are a joke in WWE right now. One of the site's articles mentioned WWE having focus groups in New York recently... hopefully someone mentioned the sad state of affairs in the tag team division.
