When it comes to these two, it looks as if TNA has them feuding against the guys in which they've had the most well known rivalry. In recent years especially, Daniels & Lynn have kind of needed AJ Styles & RVD to remain relevant.
When it comes to Christopher Daniels, I don't see anything happening aside from at least one more match with AJ Styles at No Surrender. That's not necessarily a bad thing as it should be a good match but, at the same time, it's a feud that's ultimately not going to elevate either one of them. Styles has long since been the bigger star than Daniels and that's not going to change when this feud is over. I might be wrong in this but I feel that if it was going to happen for Daniels, it already would have before he officially hit into his 40s. To me, this feels like just an excuse to give them something to do while appealing to the nostalgia of the old days when Styles & Daniels ruled TNA's X Division.
As far as Jerry Lynn is concerned, it's kind of the same I think. There's going to be at least one more match between these two in which ECW fans will get a nostalgia fix. I've got little interest here as, again, there's just not really anything here for anyone. RVD is still going to be the big star coming out if this and Lynn will still be Mr. Indy when it's all said and done. It should produce a good match and that's all well and good but, like Styles & Daniels, it just feels like a filler feud that's there just to give them something to do. Lynn involving himself in RVD's matches in this way has a sense of extremely lazy booking about it already. If it turns out that Lynn's reason for turning stems from RVD not appreciating Lynn trying to help him out in the match, I'll wind up changing the channel.
So yeah, at the end of the day, AJ Styles & RVD will still be the big stars when these feuds end while, I think, Daniels & Lynn go back to being in their shadows.
