Strangely, it would be the kind of thing which could potentially very useful in establishing some character in the Cruiserweight division.

Hornswoggle comes out to smiles on kids faces/groans from adults.

Then Perkins absolutely destroys him; not in a dominant Cruiserweight way with flips and shit but in a brutal, sadistic way, punches, kicks, a chair, belt shots, all commenced with a cheap shot.

No one comes out to save the now dead Hornswoggle, who is never seen again. The next week Perkins repeats the challenge and gets answered by his first challenger, whomever that is, who talks about how Perkins offered a challenge last week without there being any other Cruiserweights in the building; Perkins walks out of the match after a few minutes.

A clearly defined heel/face dynamic.
