Everyone talks about the total failure of the invasion on the WWE's part. Do you think TNA could pull off something after this whole MEM thing is all said and done where Foley, part shareholder in TNA, decides to break away and take over by recruiting ECW originals and and starting a fued between TNA originals and them? Do you think that would help the TNA originals get over the same way or better than this MEM storyline is supposed to play out? If TNA could get RVD, 3D Rhyno,TAZ and all of them, that sounds more of a take over storyline than the MEM really are. MEM doesnt even seen that structured and its a mystery how MEM has so much pull with TNA management. If Foley who is considered to be management broke off and started a rebellion which could culminate with whoever wins a series of matches would control the company. I know this happened before but so has everything else in wrestling. My question would be is could TNA pull it off to where its entertaining and could they do just as good if not better at it than WWE did.

A differnt stable would be good but get better people than ecw originals. 3D is over the hill, Rhyno is usless, Taz is just an anouser never a good wresler not eavon in his prime, RVD is great but will never go to tna. and Foly should retier. TnA should focis on new stars not stars from 10 years ago. I do agree MEM is getting stale and TNA neesa a change. Just my opion thou.

sure, it could work except for the fact that ECW has been pretty much irrelevant for the past 10 years, When WWE did the WCW/ECW invasion both companies were still fresh. Plus WWE owns the ECW name. An invasion angle would only really work if you did it nWo style, bring in guys from WWE to take over. It would definitely take a lot of wrk to pull of something as big as the nWo was when Scott Hall and Kevin Nash first showed up in WCW because that had never been done before and it had a since of realism to it. Im not sure if you could make that work in today's wrestling product

I'm in the minority here in thinking the MEM angle is working I guess. At any rate, I think it could work, if the MEM wasn't already there. Put it this way, Ken Anderson and Eddie Fatu, dressed in street clothes, start randomly appearing in the Impact Zone. You basically play the angle out the same way as the NWO angle did. Maybe have AJ join them in a twist. It's a long shot, but hey. Maybe.

It's true, having an invasion with washed up stars from 10 years ago would be ridiculous. NWO and the Invasion both were invasions with the young stars of the time. I don't know that they can lure top stars from WWE however since they can't offer them massive contracts like WWE could. I suppose they could do their best with released talent, like maybe having Mr. Kennedy lead an invasion and have people like Umaga, London and Kendrick, Shannon Moore and Lance Cade come in. It would probably be pretty lame tho since it's more WWE castoffs rather than hot talent lured away.

I'm actually really starting to like TNA, I think it's starting to get its shit together. The storylines seem more coherent, the matches now seem longer with more quality involved, the whole product seems more professionally done, and I'm even starting to like some of the aspects that I've always found a bit tedious, stuff like the tag divison and the women's division.

So yeah, a lot of things in my eyes are starting to make me watch it every week.
