Could Finlay be the muscle for the legacy

Finlay joining the legacy would be the worst thing to ever happen in the history of professional wrestling. For as much flak as we give WWE Creative, threads like this remind me of how it can always be worse.

Personally I think the more members you add to a stable, the more diluted it will become. I think the Legacy is fine with just RKO and Priceless, but one more member wouldn't hurt. 4 members are all you really need for a great stable, ala Evolution. So I wouldn't really like Carlito and Primo joining Legacy either (the stable already has a tag team; Priceless!). Harry Smith could be good, depending on how he plays the heel. Brett Dibiase, too. I don't think there has to be a "big" member, the idea is to present Orton as the most serious threat in the group.

If Legacy did need another member to add "muscle" to the group, I think they should add Joe Hennig. He's a third-generation superstar (grandson of Larry "The Axe" Hennig and son of Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig). He is doing quite well in FCW and P.W.I. even voted him as the rooke of the year for 2008. He's about the same as size as DiBiase, but he could still be good. If not him, possibly Ted's brother Brett, Reid Flair, or perhaps, Ricky Steamboat Jr., who has recently become training as professional wrestler. Maybe Legacy could get a valet or something, which Natalya could be since she is a second-generation superstar.

I would hate to see Finlay join Legacy about as much as I hate seeing Hornswoggle every time he comes to the ring. I could see him working as a "hired gun". The guy that Legacy throws money at to weaken their opponents before big matches.

It would require a heel turn first, and here's the perfect scenario. Finlay has a title match on ECW, and Hornswoggle interferes and costs him the match. Finlay flips out and tells little Horny that he's sick of him holding him back, and he nails him with the shillelagh. Then, he's instantly a heel, although we'd all love him for doing it. Then, he gets drafted to RAW, and Legacy approaches him with a business proposition. The camera cuts away, and then when they return, you see Miz and Morrison heading to the ring to defend against Team Priceless. Out of nowhere comes Finlay with the shillelagh and he takes them both out. They get beaten so badly that Team Priceless picks up an easy win. They continue to use him throughout their reign, and it sets up his face turn, by having him cost them a match, because he's got moe pride than being a hitman.

As everyone else has said, he's not known as a second or thrid generation star, so he wouldn't fit in with the gimmick.

Finlay isn't enough muscle along with being first generation. Also Legacy would have to include 4th generation in order for Stephanie to join. I think there might have to be more lenience in the 2nd + generation rule. I can't really see Legacy being so powerful with no one near the caliber of Randy Orton and none of the generation wrestlers aside from Orton breaking out but of course its a little soon to tell. But perhaps including an experienced wrestler as part of the group for the time being wouldn't be such a bad idea... At least for starters.

It's interesting to note that Finlay is technically a second generation wrestler according to an interview with the Sun newspaper.

FINLAY interview in the Sun newspaper said:
“My father was a wrestler before me and still actually teaches kids in Greenisland just outside Carrick in the Knockagh wrestling club,”

Being around the age of 50, he is not an up and comer, he is well established and should be kept away from Legacy 100%

Finlay does not have the look, being an old Irish man, but it's interesting to note that he looks the part in this picture from 1974;
