Consequences Creed Signs WWE Developmental Contract

A good signing? You never know. It all depends if he can deliver when he gets to the big stage. I do like the fact they signed this young wrestler and he will have to start from scratch from FCW, but that's how it is. I hope he does make it. Found him somewhat entertaining and if he could just mold that raw talent and charisma into a great character, props.

Hopeful and optimistic is are the words I'm looking for.

I guess it is all in the semantics. I forgot WWE fans have been conditioned to accept decent physique and nothing else as enough to warrant the "potential" label. Seriously by your definition of potential a million middle schoolers have "potential." If the term is that meaningless then why even use it? I know if I found a guy boring, thought he had no charisma and couldn't make myself care about anything he was involved in then I would not be touting it as a good signing with future star potential. Maybe that is just me.

Semantics has nothing to do with it. For all intents and purposes, you tried to put words in my mouth. Actually, potential to me means that there's actually something that MIGHT be there to work with. Consequences Creed is a young and athletic guy, it's all he's got right now but does that automatically mean that he MIGHT not have something else to show? I don't know if he does or not because he certainly didn't show it in TNA.

Consequences Creed MIGHT be someone that could be molded into a decent wrestler that people might actually pay money to see. I don't know for sure as we'll have to see. I know that the idea of actually wanting to see a young wrestler made into a star is something of a foreign concept to TNA fans since they spend so much time living in the past and dwelling on nostalgia, but I prefer to look to the future and what MIGHT be or could be rather looking at what was through rose colored glasses.

By yours, Shelton Benjamin is awesome and should be pushed. And actually, middle schoolers do have a lot of potential. Bill Gates was once a middle schooler, and is now one of the richedt men in the world. Middle schoolers have one hell of a lot of potential.

When the hell did I give a definition of potential? Also what the hell does possibly having potential have to do with huge pushes? One is about a possible future and one is about the present, they are not related. The point is that when a definition of potential is so vague that it applies to millions of people most of which will never set foot in a wrestling ring then it is meangingless. It is not even like Creed has a good look by WWE standards. He is way too short for them.

I think Kaval is boring, has no charisma and don't care about him. DOes that make him a poor signing too? One man's boring plodder is another man's perfect wrestler.

Did I say Creed was a poor signing? No, I said hammer seemed to be conveniently talking out of both sides of his mouth depending on which company creed was associated with. There is no harm in signing creed but I just find it hard to believe their is no bias present in the two different statments.

How did I put words in your mouth by posting what YOU did say? My question remains, if all Creed has that gives him this theoretical star potential is being young and athletic then why does that phrase mean anything anymore? By those standards you would think almost everyone in ROH has "star" "potential" (something it sure does not seem like you think judging from other posts). In fact about half of every school sports team across the country could be a potential star if WWE uses them right even if they have never been interesting or shown charisma. Give me a break.

I may have to wait on this to say whether or not it was a good investment. I will say he certainly seemed to have quite the passion for the business. I had the great chance to see him live one time and he did not disappoint. But, that being said, because of the fact he was a TNA star at one point in time, begs a fact to be brought up, could he possibly get the same kind of treatment that others who looked to TNA for work and then come to WWE for work get? My case being if you look at Christian, and Gail Kim, and then look at Kaval (Senshi). My only thought is, unless Mr. Creed may go the way of Kaval and start from scratch again and totaly rebuild himself and do a season of NXT (pending another season, if he is on a season.) But I guess also just because he gets a developmental contract doesn't mean he's AUTOMATICALLY going to be seen on tv yet. Look at how many people are given developmental contracts and some are let go even before they get a chance to have a dark match in a ring at a local event? I may be a negative nelly, but I think with a situation like this, you may need to have some cautious optimism, always be on the lookout for that 'but...'

Him signing with WWE really means nothing. 1) he will get released before he gets to tv or 2) he will live out his wwe career on the mid card. Heres a good question has WWE ever really put over former TNA talent(that wasn't with WWE before they went to TNA) Vance Archer has gotten the biggest push so far. WWE put Chris Harris on ECW for like two weeks.

Creed is pretty green in the ring. I think they can mold him in to a solid in-ring worker in FCW. His main problem is getting him over. This guy needs a manager.

He needs somebody like Abraham Washington or Teddy Long do the talking for him. Just let him say something cocky at the end of the promos they do.

I also think if they were to give him a manager, putting him on NXT would be stupid. Debut him with a manager and let him get some high spot wins against JTTS like Bourne and Regal. I could see Creed having a great feud with somebody like Morrison.

Or as another idea, use Creed as Dibiase's Virgil.
