Round three, the first gimmick round, will begin next Monday, giving you the weekend to discuss the matches. Drawing for the gimmick matches will be held Friday.

Hrmmm, Foley v Liger gimmick match... even if it's a hardcore match I think Liger has a very good shot. I could see Kishin Liger brainbustering Foley onto a rambling pile of metal folding chairs for the 1-2-3. If it's a Ironman or submissions match I like the odds even more.

I can think of a long list of gimmick matches where Batista walks away with a win over Flair. Legend or not, Flair's a guy who made a career getting the ever loving piss slapped out of him and being left looking defeated.

Batista vs. Flair in a First Blood, Last Man Standing, or Ladder Match would be ideal.

I think we're ready for an update, Ronald.

With the alterations I'm making to the gimmick round this year, I'd be surprised about him getting one.

Rob Van Dam defeating Stan Hansen, and Jake Roberts defeating Brody are the only two bad results I see in this set of voting.

Lulz, please give Flair a First Blood Match. I would love to see how anyone could vote him to win. The old man bleeds when he even thinks about having a match.

Jake Roberts shouldn't have beaten anyone, really. Santo in the last 32, happy with that. For me, all eyes are going to be on Taker vs Hogan and whatever gimmick that gets. I can't see the people of WZ voting for Hogan in anything though, after he lost a cage match last year.

My fingers are crossed that Liger/Foley pulls the cage match.

I'm amazed Foley has made it this far, especially to get past Jumbo. My votes for Foley are all out of fandom rather than actually skill.

What, no inferno match? That's lame KB.

I'm assuming the big boy matches are being saved. But then as by KB's view on what matches shouldn't feature like a Table Match, Inferno would fit under that. While it's an epic match type, winning is purely down to luck than by wrestling ability.

You have an interesting round when the wrestler who has the easiest opponent in terms of voting is Chris Benoit.

John cena vs Ultimate warrior i think this is the toughest match of the 3rd round. I wonder what gmmick this is going to get.

Woo whoo thanks Kb for adding Dog Collar

LOL Ted DiBiase over Kawada? Yeah, that's just fucking wrong any way you slice it. Glad to see the tournament voting is as uneducated as ever. A career midcarder goes over one of the most legendary Japanese wrestlers of all time with more world title reigns and five star matches than Ted DiBiase has probably seen on video. Absolutely, positively, laughably wrong. Almost as laughably wrong as Foley going over Jumbo, but atleast Foley actually won some world titles unlike Ted.
