Your average smarks don't enjoy fun. I do. I enjoy wrestling storylines that break from the mould, challenge convention, and tell a compelling fictional story that doesn't rely on a wrestler's actual reputation as a performer as a crutch. This storyline does all of that and does it fearlessly.

The odds are higher than they've ever been based on the increasing frequency of Tuesday SmackDown specials. I could say when or if it will ever happen though. Would you like me to pretend I can?

I'm sure when Triple H becomes the man in terms of determining the direction of the on screen product, we'll see noticeable improvement there as well. Such is the way when things are as bad as they are. Only one direction to go, really.

He's fine, but he's nowhere near as good as people make him out to be. As far as supposed "all time greats" go, he's middle-of-the-road at best.

Ace held the office for nearly a decade while Triple H is new to the position. A side-by-side comparison wouldn't be fair. But Triple H's reign began on a high note with Sin Cara and he seems to have a keener eye for high profile indy and international talent than Ace. Not to say Ace didn't reign when Punk, Bryan, Rollins, etc got signed. But when I think of Ace, I think of Zeke Jackson, or Mason Ryan, or Bobby Lashley. Bodies. Ten years of them. Although I'll spare you my musings about how part of Triple H's track record has to do with the changing direction of the company which may or may not have a lot to do with him.
